Öppen planlösning med underbart naturligt ljus i ett traditionellt hus i stenkniv. Willie Mcleod's House ligger fristående i ett beskuren landskap med vacker utsikt mot det närliggande havet och kullarna.

Nära halvvägs mellan Staffin och Uig är Willie's väl placerad för tillgång till kusten och Trotternish Ridge med dess spektakulära och underbara Quiraing-klippformationer.
Inuti den klassiska pittoreska vitkalkade stugan utsidan är en modern levande överraskning - all luft, utrymme och ljus nedervåningen i vardagsrummet, med smarta, moderna möbler och smakfull, sympatisk inredning. Den nya vedkaminen ökar luften av varmt, bekvämt välkomnande.

Det nyuppgraderade kök och badrum avslutar bottenvåningen boende i stil och funktionalitet, inklusive en separat duschkabin och badkar och en extra toalett. Köket är fullt utrustat och nyuppgraderat, inklusive elektrisk ugn, spis, tvättmaskin / torktumlare, kyl, mikrovågsugn och diskmaskin.

Upp den breda trätrappan till 3 sovrum - en (king-size) dubbel, en tvilling och en singel. En barnsäng finns och vi erbjuder linne och handdukar. En initial korg med stockar finns också för vedeldaren. Boot rum.

Terrängparkering för minst 3 bilar. Willies delar den stora trädgården med vår egen Byre.

This home was cozy and clean. It was a perfect location to explore isle of skye. The owner was easy to communicate with and very kind. Our kids especially loved the bunnies all over the place and the friendly cows. The home is simple and had everything we needed. Thank you!!

Very clean, comfortable, authentic croft house in a remote location on the beautiful Isle of Skye. Great place to stay for an extended stay in Skye. We were there for only 2 nights and it wasn’t enough to really explore the island. The owner/host is amazing! She made sure everything we needed was readily available and in good order before we got there.

Our stay was wonderful overall. Loved the remote location. All we saw or heard were the sheep and cows. The walk to Rubha Hunish was great. Another review mentioned that it feels like the end of the world, and it really does. It was nice to talk to Alan the Crofter and pet his family of collies as well.

Wonderful cottage in a stunning landscape

Lorraine’s cottage was the most amazing rental we have ever had. The cottage was charming and authentic, very clean, spacious, well appointed and located in a stunning valley with incredible views, and close to many Skye attractions. The cottage is located next to a sheep farm with literally hundreds of sheep - such an amazing environment especially for the kids. Lorraine was an incredible host, so kind and thoughtful, and wonderful with her recommendations of attractions and restaurants/cafe. My family and I did not want to leave!

This is truly an exceptional home and place to stay. The location in the remote north of Isle of Skye with surrounding farmland and sea views was superb and incredibly peaceful. The house is delightful, spacious, well equipped and we felt right at home. Highly recommend.

Lovely Croft house!

We wanted a place away from it all, and this house fit the bill perfectly! The house was neat and clean and well located for the activities we wanted to do on the Isle. So many sheep everywhere, but that added to the charm!

After following Lorraine’s wonderful directions we made our way to Willie McLeod’s Croft. Everything anyone could need has been thought of. We stopped at the coop on our way so we were able to make meals after exploring Skye. We met Alan who graciously told us about his dogs and sheep :-). We needed some time away from noise and found it. Lorraine and family have done fabulous and loving work to keep the feel of the Croft while renovating it. We had a great getaway.

We we at the end of Skye and lived it!

A great place to getaway and just enjoy the solitude. We had a cozy fire in the comfort of this beautiful Croft house. Beds were comfy and kitchen was well equipped. It does not disappoint!

Very cool place

At the far end of the world is where you will find this gem of a stay. Loved the location and the house which came as advertised. Being that it is so far away, it could use a few more day to day items in the kitchen as it is a long way back into town.

This property is beyond special and like no place we've ever stayed before. Not only is the drive to it AMAZING, but the property itself has a picturesque setting of free range grazing land and views of the sea. Such a welcoming environment and home... including a handwritten note from the property manager. The home has a lovely decor with modern conveniences... but also has a feel of stepping back in time. As charming as can be!!! Rabbits, birds, cows, sheep are all around this area and property, as well as several gorgeous Isle of Skye landmarks. We were teary eyed upon arrival, as well as when time to leave. Just that special of a place! Could not recommend this property more highly!

Wonderful house at the North end of Skye. Peaceful with beautiful views. Driving distance to Duntulm Castle ruins and the Musuem. Host was super responsive. I would recommend for a relaxing stay.

Comfortable home in stunning, remote location

So serene, beautiful views, cosy home. It is a trek to get to this property for which you will be heartily rewarded but important for guests to be aware of. Lorraine provided great instructions and we found the property easily. Roads on Skye, including up the top end where the home is located have challenges - narrow one lane, many deep potholes etc. The home was well equipped, cosy, warm and comfortable. You would be advised to bring food supplies to enjoy eating at home and enjoying the absolute serenity. We had gorgeous lambs and sheep for company Communication with Lorraine was easy and excellent. We loved our stay here.

Quaint

The house is very quaint. You are surrounded by sheep, rabbits and sweeping views. Though the house looks old it is up to date inside. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would come back to enjoy the peace. If you’re lucky, Alan the crofter will come by and talk with you about his life farming sheep and raising Birder Collies.
