“Eclypse del Mar is a uniquely, beautiful location. We stayed both in the overwater bungalows and the treehouse so we were able to enjoy the ocean and forest views. “My review should be seen in relation to the fact that it is an expensive hotel. The room and the staff were very good. The food was okay. What bothered us the most, unfortunately, was that the hotel did not live up to the rules regarding beach chairs. According to the staff, beach chairs were supposed to be reserved for hotel guests, this was absolutely not the case. “Enjoyable stay on an island - but we had higher expectations. You get picked up in the harbour, works perfectly fine. The lodge was half open to nature and really fantastic. Dark wood materials, comfortable bed, shower half outdoors with nice eco friendly products. Be prepared to get some exercise while climbing up to lobby/dinner area. Dinner was average and breakfast as well. Missed "taste/flavour". The tour on the farm was nice but in the end it is all planted there and a little of everything...
