Vi hade 5 underbara dagar på resorten och trivdes med allt. God mat, fin strand, lugnt och skönt samt väldigt vänlig personal. Vi bodde i en fin ”djungelbungalov” med fin havsutsikt, viktigt att kolla om man tycker det är trevligt.

Ok hotell
Hotellet i sig var okej. Har väl sett sina storhetsdagar. Men funkar. Frukosten sådär. Märks att den är väldigt anpassad till asiater. Pooler var väl med bra. Dock ingen som kollade när alla barn hoppade från kanter och gjorde det svårt för oss utan barn att få en lugn stund någonstans i poolen. Rummen hade det man kan önska. Fanns shuttel för dem som både längre ifrån receptionen och det kan jag först med vissa avstånd och backar. Hittade en stor hår tuss på golvet på toan när vi checkade in. Mindre fräscht men övrigt ganska ok. Nära till sky cabel och hängbron. Deras gäst disk för att hjälpa kunder får ett minus då de inte riktigt ville hjälpa oss att boka utflykter. Killarna vid shuttelbussarna var kanon och trevliga. Kul med alla djur som fanns där. Inte minst de svarta aporna. Goa att se.

Stranden och havet lämnade en del att önska, detsamma för promenader osv, men mycket bra för avkoppling och mer än godkänd frukost, lunch och middag.

Mysigt resort med fin strand och bra poolområde. Phan Thai restaurangen som tillhör resortet rekommenderas starkt, men man måste boka bord där dan innan.

A huge disappointment.
A huge disappointment. The hotel is marked as a 5 star but is barely at the level of a 3 star. For swedes, the overall does not live up to the quality you would get at a Scandic. Since we are are 4 in the family, we had 2 bungalows in the jungle (4 beds). The bungalows are about 10-15 minutes walking distance to the lobby, pool and beach area. The hotel proposes a shuttle service. Even if 10-15 minutes is not much, the walk could turn into an adventure if you meet monkeys on you way. The grey monkeys are aggressive and attack. Unfortunately, they attack the smallest in the group, i.e. the kids. So shuttles became a necessity. But you wait in average 15-20 minutes outside of your room for it. We had once to wait 50 minutes. We mentioned this to the reception who, without apologising, just said that it happens sometimes. House keeping is of poor quality, On 2 occasions, they took our towels but did not leave fresh ones. So we had 0 towels. We called the lobby to get fresh ones which were delivered 1 hour later. We called 3 times to ask where they were but they were each time on their way. Of course, no apologies. I asked for the manager to call us back. But of course, no one called. The restaurants are very good and we highly recommend them. In summary, the hotel gets at most a 2 out of 5. The restaurants get a 4 (5 would be michelin level).

Trevlig hotell i Langkawi
Trevligt hotel och vänligt och professionel personal. Rätt så mycket skräp i hotellet område och kring husen med det var inget som vi led av, men ett bra trevligt hotel. Bra mat och mycket att välja för frukost. Men rätt så mycket folk och hög volym. Svag och långsam Wi / Fi i rummet med bättre i lobby. Tog lång tid att ladda ner bilder och sånt. Kul med alla apor som kom och hälsade på i djungeln rummen. Phan Thai restaurangen rekommenderas verkligen, men man måste boka bord i förväg

Fantastisk natur och vacker strand i fin inramning
Mycket trevlig resort i ljuvlig natur. Vi bodde i en liten bungalow i djungeln, perfekt för mig och mins två barn. Stiligt inredd och lugnt. Då området är stort kan det vara en bit att få mellan strand och bungalow, men det går små öppna bilar runt i området dygnet runt så man behöver inte gå om man inte vill. Restaurangerna på området håller genomgående en hög kvalitet, prisläget är mycket bra, med ca 80-100 kr för en hel middag och 30 kr för ett glas vin eller en drink. Personalen är trevlig och tillmötesgående. Det enda man bör tänka på är att om man har små barn kan dessa bli lote skrämda av de närgångna aporna som då och då tar sig runt på stranden. Man bör också vara medveten om att man är ’utelämnad’ till restaurangerna på området om man inte vill åka taxi till byn. Jag upplevde det inte som ett hinder då det finns 6-7 olika restauranger, alla med god mat. Thairestaurangen och brasseriet på stranden rekommenderas extra. Jag rekommenderar detta hotell till familjer och par som söker lugn, vill ha god mat och en bekvämlighet semester i fantastisk natur.

Nära både skog och hav.
Mycket nöjd med vistelsen.Välorganiserat stort hotellområde nära hav och skog.Shuttele på beställning för den som inte föredrar promenad från sin stuga till hotellfaciliteterna.Charmigt boende trots en aning slitna stugor i skogspartierna. Roligt och genuint med apor och lemurer som klättrar i träden intill stugan.Mycket prisvärd helpension med goda kvällsbuffeer och lunch a la carte.Antar att detta endast bokas med hotellrummet. Pool och strand avskilt och helt tillfyllest. Vänlig och hjälpsam personal.Rekommenderar detta boende!

Rekommenderar Beach Brasseriet för lunch och Thairestaurangen på piren för middag! Häftigt att bo nära naturen och regnskogen. Området är stort men shuttles fungerade bra, men be gärna om att bo nära det centrala lobby-området för att inte vara mer flexibel.

I'm in heaven!
Fantastiskt fint hotell med bra mat och fin service! Stranden är mycket fin och det finns gott om plats. För den som gillar pool, så är det jättefina pooler på området! Restaurang utbudet är ganska stort. Vi gillade den japanska/kinesiska bäst. Värt ett besök ute på den Thailändska också. Vår bungalow i "djungeln" var mycket fin. Har man tur eller otur kommer närgångna apor och hälsar på. Vi hyrde Scooter under hela veckan vi var där.

Bekvämt och mysigt i djungeln!
Positivt överraskade! Vi hade en rainforest chart och den var hur mysig och fräsch som helst! Mysiga omgivningar med djurliv utanför dörren. Restaurangerna hade överlag god mat men servicen var vissa gånger inte särskilt proffsig - de var inte otrevliga på något vis utan en del detaljer kunde man gjort bättre. Rent överallt. Det negativa var väl solstolarna runt poolen. De var inte överdrivet många och folk fulade sig varje morgon genom att paxa stolarna innan frukosten för att sedan återkomma mycket senare. Detta beteende motverkades inte av hotellet vilket var lite beklagligt. Helt okej strand även fast jag inte förstår varför solstolarna placerats så långt bort? Kan dock varmt rekommendera hotellet för den som gillar bekvämlighet under sin semestervistelse på Langkawi. Gångavstånd till Cable Cars.

Bra hotell men närhet till stranden.
Bra hotell men närhet till stranden. En stor trevlig pool, med närhet till mat och dryck. Man bor i ”stugor” vid vattnet eller lite längre upp i skogen, vi fick en stuga i skogen som var supermysig. Transport till och från boende gick 24/7 och kostar inget extra. Stor bra frukost och helt ok wi-fi. I närheten finns det flera aktiviteter samt gångavstånd till området som tar dig upp till skybridge som vi kan rekommendera men inte till de höjdrädda :) totalt stannade vi 3 nätter på hotellet och det var lagom!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My stay at Berjaya Langkawi Resort exceeded all expectations! Literally Paradise for a week! I gpt a seaview premier chalet and it was perfect. I was greeted with warm smiles, impeccable service and a buggy to my villa. The resort's stunning location amidst lush greenery and overlooking the crystal-clear waters of the Andaman Sea created a picturesque backdrop for a truly memorable vacation. The accommodation was luxurious and comfortable, providing a perfect blend of modern amenities and traditional charm. Waking up to the sound of birds chirping and the gentle rustle of palm leaves was a rejuvenating experience. The spacious rooms offered breathtaking views and i mean it BREATHETAKING. The resort's facilities catered to every need and desire. Whether lounging by the pool, indulging in delectable cuisine at one of the restaurants, or pampering myself with a relaxing spa treatment, every experience was nothing short of exceptional. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that every guest felt welcomed and cared for, adding a personal touch to the overall experience. One of the highlights of my stay was exploring the island's natural beauty through the resort's various excursions and activities. From island hopping Jet skiing to horse riding on the beach, there was never a dull moment. Enjoyable stay almost in the jungle with monkeys around. Food, beach and swimming pool very good and staff very helpful. Had a rented car and it was convenient as the resort is away from everything else. Highly recommended.

We spent 10 days at the Berjaya and thoroughly enjoyed our stay on one of the chalets over the water. Waking up to the sunrise over the water was a joy, as was watching the sunset from the Thai restaurant. All the restaurants offered a good selection of food, my only quibble being the lack of Malaysian snacks such as Sate at the beach/pool bar. One point where things could improve was the need for a supervisor at the beach bar at busy periods. The lads behind the bar did get confused and overwhelmed some lunchtimes. The resort is spread over a large area with many chalets built into the forest. These looked nice but I heard from some that these looked tired. The Berjaya are in the process of renovating their chalets. To cover this area buggies transport you to restaurants, spa (excellent male therapist in the mens section), pool and back to your chalet. The resort provided a very relaxing holiday and the staff were friendly and so helpful. A big thank you to them all. It is however worth noting few things about the area. We were surprised to find some shops and and restaurants had not reopened since Covid, in particular at the Oriental village and Perdana quay. This limited the amount of alternative places to eat. Fortunately taxi are cheap and easy to get, so you can get to Pantai Cenang etc for a change of scene.

We had an amazing stay at this resort. All the staff was amazing and very accommodating, they go out of their way to make sure you have a great stay. It’s a large resort so need a shuttle to get around. They also have a private beach area which is clean and has food and beverage options. Seeing monkeys around the property is also a treat, just need to be careful around them. The only downside was the Wi-Fi, found is slow at times. This can improved.

Wir waren rund eine Woche im Januar 2024 dort. Wir hatten ein Chalet im Wald. Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Schöne Anlage und guter Service und sauber. Das Hotel liegt etwa 30 Min. ausserhalb der Stadt. Ist aber mit Taxi oder Grab schnell erreichbar. Kosten für eine Fahrt zwischen 25 und 40 Ringgit. Das Meer ist direkt beim Hotel. Es hat genügend Sonnenschirme und Liegen. In der Nähe hat es keine Restaurants. Deshalb in den Hotelrestaurants oder in der Stadt essen gehen.

This resort is undergoing many unit renovations. Don’t be surprised if there is painting, grinding, rail replacement, etc going on outside your door-it is very busy. I think my only recommendation would be to tidy up the renovation and work areas so guests don’t have to see the evidence of the work. The workers only work during day hours when people are out so it didn’t bother us.
