“Billy’s cottage was a haven. Our luggage took 3 days to arrive but the cottage and the docks were wonderful. It’s quite a walk to the centre of Dublin, we sometimes ubered which made it very easy (NB - eirecode is very important as the cottage isn’t easy to find otherwise). But would love to stay again and heartily recommended.”

“We had a really nice stay in Brittas Bay. The holiday home of Brian ist lovely and it's perfect to relax. Brian was an excellent host. He always answered fast and tried to solve every problem. It's a good place to discover the east and the south of Ireland. You Just need to know that there is no supermarket or restaurant close to the house. A little supermarket ist in Brittas Bay, but it's a longer walk and not arround the corner. With a car it's not a problem to drive to Wicklow f. e.”

We needed a place that could accommodate a family with enough space to spread out and within walking distance to pubs and the city center. The Grand Canal Townhouse was the perfect answer to all that we needed. Not only was the location great, the check-in process was seamless, and John was a pleasure to communicate with. “Excellent location on a quiet side street in a hip, but not touristy, neighborhood with good pubs and restaurants, and only about a 20 min. walk to the city centre. The townhouse has a kind of quirky charm, unlike any other vacation rental we've stayed in. Our only complaint was the low water pressure in the shower, which could be rectified by a shower head replacement. Our host Helen was kind enough to allow us an early check-in on our arrival, which was much appreciated.”
