“Even before we left for our vacation, our Host Heather was amazing. She would contact me to make sure we had everything we needed beforehand to make sure our week went flawless. She was so quick to respond to any questions I had. When we pulled into the private driveway, we were greeted with a forest of beautiful evergreen trees that surrounded the property. “The house is huge and has a giant finished basement perfect for the kids to retreat to. The kitchen had every appliance you can think of and the pizza oven worked perfectly. Hot tub outside was the icing on the cake after a day of skiing. The kids were also sledding on the golf course. The shuttle that comes right to the house made this super easy to get everyone to the mountain together. Will definitely stay again! Maybe for a golf retreat next time.”

“We had a great stay at the Bear Paw Cabin for our annual VT trip! The house is well appointed and had everything we needed for our stay! Close to Stratton and even closer to Mount Snow, we spent two days at the mountain skiing and snowboarding before hitting the brewery and a local restaurant. The game room is fun, though you will need to bring/buy wood and give the woodstove plenty of time to warm up in the Winter. Our only "con" was that sound traveled easily (one of the bedrooms was open-air...

“House is great, we had a large group. 2 living rooms, one with tv one without was a nice separation. To give some details on the layout, the bunk bed rm and twin room are off the living room on the main level, all other bd rooms are on the second floor. From the parking area to the main front door there are 31 steps.... not sure that was stated anywhere but hopefully everyone reads this review. I will stay here again if my group size demands it, it's close to mt snow, pretty secluded overall...

“This trip included friends that never met before. Never a dull moment, always something to do! Jacuzzi, games, watch movies, get creative in the kitchen, go for walks! The house was very comfortable and for everyone’s needs! No doubt we will be back! Excellent trip!!”

“We had a wonderful stay at this property. The proximity to Stratton along with the amazing view that we woke up to every morning could not be better. The only 2 things that I would have liked would have been for there to be a television (there was a monitor in the bedroom that we moved into the living room to stream from Chromebook) and an actual fireplace instead of wood burning stove but to be clear those are not complaints nor eif just a wish list. I would definitely recommend this property.”

“We recently stayed at this VRBO rental property the last week of March 2024. It was 3 couples (6 adults), with 4 children (ages 9-13) - and the home was perfect for our group. We skied Stratton Mountain, which was less than 20 minutes away, and visited a spa / went shopping / ate at restaurants in nearby Manchester. The fireplace is fantastic - we spent afternoons and evenings after a day on the slopes cozied up around the fireplace. The game room - with shuffleboard, pool table and ping table...

“Loved the cozy, clean , and scenic chalet for wedding weekend. The covered deck was perfect for relaxing , even with some rainy weather. Walking distance or quick drive to Mass MoCA.”

“We loved our stay in this chalet! My friends and I spent a weekend (Fri-Mon) in this home and all of our expectations were exceeded. We had so much fun enjoying all this home had to offer including the hot tub, grill, fire pit, games in the basement (Pac-Man, Mario Party, air hockey, etc.). The beds were so comfortable and the place was so clean, it was honestly nicer than most hotels we had stayed at. “We loved our stay at the chalet. It's perfectly situated in the cutest little neighborhood, while also feeling very secluded. The chalet had everything we needed for our stay. While visiting we walked a few of the trails nearby, part of the Valley Trail and the Hoot, Toot and Whistle. They were both perfect for our pups, especially during hunting season. We gave our pups an extra squeeze in honor of Scarlet. Thank you for sharing your place with us! We would love to stay again!!”
