“3 friends and I booked this place minute so we could ski northern VT. It's an easy hour's ride from Jay and just 30 min to Burke. Wood stove, Amazon Fire TV, and plenty of sleeping space were all pluses. The hot tub was a nice soak, but the jets basically didn't work. Cookware consists of the usual random assortment of medium-quality pots and pans with no lids. We made do but I wouldn't plan on any major meal prep unless the owners upgrade the cookware. “We had a wonderful stay at the Bayou Chalet. We came with 2 Dads and our 2 sons for a 4 day ski race at Mt. Ellen at Sugarbush. The house was perfect for us. Clean, comfortable and a great mud room for all of our gear. We were very close to both mountain bases and a short drive to Waitsfield. John the owner was super responsive and kept checking in to make sure we were having a good time. We all said that we loved the place and would definitely come back!”

“We had a lovely weekend ski trip with friends here and everything was excellent. The house was even more beautiful in person than in the photos. Plenty of room in the driveway for lots of cars, had a tricky time connecting the Bluetooth speaker to the projector but our host Eric was very helpful in talking us through how to connect it. Hot tub was hot and worked great all weekend, I was honestly very impressed with how well it was able to maintain its heat in single digit temperatures outside....

“From my first inquiry Dave had been responsive snd helpful. Beautiful house and we couldn’t ask for closer to Okemo trails. So much room in the home for all 17 of us. A fall trip back might be in our future for leave changing views.”

“My family and I had a great stay at the Skylight Lodge. It is very different from other rentals, being a former inn. There is plenty of space for a big group and the two master suites are great. The fireplace in the main room is like something out of game of thrones, and was the highlight of the trip for the adults. “This fantastic house is roomy, comfortable and welcoming. It had everything we needed. Three families could stay with children and not be crowded, although we were all adults and had only up to 10 at any given moment. The hot tub was lovely and the surrounding property just beautiful. A warning about the dirt road might be a good idea for us city folks though, lol. Loved it and already figuring out when we can come back!”
