“The place is perfect. There is no noise in the place. Every room has a foot massager. There is a bar fridge with drinks, which you can drink and pay later. The showers work well and there is enough hot water. The breakfast is also excellent. I loved the place and had a wonderful stay.”

“The lodge was perfect and situated great in a private reserv with wild animals were you could walk/ go with a car daytime. Rooms really clean and nicely devorated. Great breakfast and dinnerbuffe. The owner and the staff really nice. The owner booked great excursions for us. I highly recommend this lodge for among other things visiting the Kruger park and game drives.”

“Brilliant stay. Margrit was more than helpful and welcoming. She upgraded our room to Honeymoon suite. The room was beautiful, well furnished and the jacuzzi was a bonus. The service was very good from both Margrit and the ladies working with her. ”

Unfortunately I had to ask the people in room next to me to close their door, as they made a considerable noise. (The doors faced each other.) It is not the owners fault, but I don't think that I should manage that either. Yes, I would stay there again. ”

“We first stayed at Bongani Mountain Lodge 15 years ago and returned when we saw it on special over new year. Not much has changed in 15 years. We had a nice time - the food was good and our ranger and tracker were pleasant and informative. I would not rate this lodge as luxury. The room, with a queen size bed, had seen better days and with the thatch roof and poor choice of tiles it always seemed a bit grubby. The game viewing is not great. “Casa do Sol was quiet compared to our previous stays here but this didn't stop the staff doing everything they could to make our stay agreeable. Of particular note was the high standard of the food which we thoroughly enjoyed. Go now and enjoy as the hotel will soon be busy again. A great place to stay before you go into Kruger.”
