For an all inclusive hotel I didn’t have high hopes for the food however it surpassed all my expectations and was incredible, including catering for vegetarians. “Du bör ha en 4x4 bil för att ta dig till detta fantastiska hotell. Närmare naturen och djuren kommer man inte, dessa stugor ligger långt ut från all annan bebyggelse. Stugorna helt otroliga men maten var inte till belåtenhet med tanke på priset på detta boende. Snopet att receptionen var stängd när vi till slut kom fram, och vi fick köra runt i skogen en stund till vi plötsligt hittade kocken som kunde hjälpa oss. ”

“We were greeted on arrival by the owner, who was extremely welcoming and hospitable. The room was extremely spacious and well appointed and the breakfast excellent. Dullstroom is evidently the highest town in South Africa at well over 2000 metres above sea level. As such it is somewhat cooler than most of the country and provided a welcome respite. We would have no hesitation in recommending Critchley Hackle and hope to return ourselves next year.”
