“First of all, the place is sumptuous. About as close to five star as Natchez can get. David and his partner run a beautiful ship. An aesthetic pleasure. My room was spacious, beautifully appointed, and I had my own ground floor exit. Close to anything you would want to do in town. And David is a Southern delight. The real thing, full of mirth and good stories about local life. Hope to return soon.”

We had a great breakfast each morning at the Guest House Inn and Restaurant via a voucher from our hosts. The property was very private and quiet and the bed was one of the most comfortable we have slept on. ...

“There are two rooms at the barn and they are not worth the price. The rooms at the main house are the fantastic on es. So if you see a bargin on hotel.com its probably in the barn. When booking via hotels.com it said WIFI at the room. No wifi was available at the barn. The response at the reception was like "I do not care"”

“The property is a beautiful old historic home and the owners did a tour which was very interesting. The rooms are quaint but quite small and full of potentially breakable things so need to be less cluttered. The mattress was not good and the bed really creaked. They give you breakfast and I emailed to say I had a food allergy but this was ignored which was all a bit awkward as no choice. The place is peaceful and quiet and well situated for the historical homes tour.”

“We enjoyed our stay at the Carriage Cottage very much. The owner was very accommodating to our needs. Everything was clean, kitchen well equipped, and king bed was very comfortable. My only suggestion is to change out the sofa in living area to something more comfortable. Hope we can stay again sometime.”
