Lee and David were lovely hosts and very welcoming to our toy poodle,Tucker. The room was quite large with beautiful antiques from David’s family. Please don’t miss the tour of the upper floor, which houses 7 generations from David’s family. It was incredible, so beautiful. Thanks, we’ll definitely stay there if we ever get back to Natchez.

David and Lee are charming hosts, and very willing to help with suggestions for great restaurants, sightseeing, and shopping. Their home is stunning, and they're extremely knowledgeable about the history of Choctaw Hall and all the amazing antiques and museum quality objects of art in their home. Our room was comfortable and the common area was lovely. They provided coffee, tea, a fridge stocked with soft drinks and bottled water, and a host of snacks. We highly recommend a stay at Choctaw Hall.

Beautiful old home from the early 1800s I think. Lee gave us a tour of the house. Very interesting. Common room with coffee, tea and snacks. Cold drinks in the fridge. Peaceful large garden to just sit and relax. Breakfast is at a local café just 4 short blocks away. There is also a brewery that is even closer and serves nice pizza. The people at Choctaw Hall are charming. Parking is easy. Location is great.

Incredible historic home in prime Natchez location. Lovely spacious room on lower level, easy access from the outside - no stairs. Very comfortable room, bathroom and common area with beverages and snacks! Breakfast is by vouchers offering a choice of two nearby cafes! We really enjoyed eating at Natchez Coffee! Easy free parking on the street along the historic property! Lee and David are terrific hosts! We loved the house tour Lee gave us - absolutely beautiful rooms and furnishings! Highly recommend!

Host was very hospitable and helpful. Provided an excellent and interesting tour of the main floor rooms, explaining historical significance and the house design and construction, as well as the furniture, art, paintings, decor, dining ware etc. The room was comfortable, clean, bed was comfortable. The private washroom and shower were clean. Parking was free on the street in front or at the side of the mansion, street lighting was good, no concerns strolling around town at night and down to the river restaurants and bars. Sunset at the restaurant down by the river was beautiful a must see. Location was excellent, the mansion was within nice walking distance of many other beautiful antebellum mansions. Natchez is a very pleasant and friendly small town. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Value was excellent, coffee and tea provided in reading/TV sitting area with books, a relaxing area. Breakfast coupon provided for a local restaurant a few blocks away on one of the streets in town with antique shops. The breakfast was very good. Will definitely stay there again next time we visit Natchez. Visitors from Canada

The room was not the room I booked. It was located on the ground floor near a very cluttered common room not a space i would feel comfortable or want to enjoy. There were mouse and insect traps located in the bathroom and the condition of the room was tatty and in need of renovation. No TV in the room and the bathroom felt dark gloomy and not at all nice.

This is a marvelous old antebellum mansion. Quite well maintained with an interesting history. We’ve stayed in a few of these old places, and this is the best of them. Lee is a GREAT host, too. If you’re in Natchez, and like these old mansions, this is definitely the place to stay.
