The home was had plenty of room for all of us to spread out and get time to ourselves when needed and space to gather together to hang out and eat. “I totally enjoyed my winter getaway. Loved seeing the sunrise come into the bedroom. The location was great, within close proximity to everything I needed. I loved the snow and found a great trail for snowshoe hiking up off Gunflint Trail. The cottage was perfect. Loved the gas stove heaters. The bed was comfortable and the bath towels were very soft. Accommodations were great.”

It was great that the bedrooms and bathrooms are on separate floors as we traveled with a newborn. Our only regret is not having the time to sit on the beautiful deck and enjoy the view. “Stayed for two nights for my daughter's graduation. The event was at the DECC so the location was perfect! Across the street from beach. One mile from Canal Park. Pictures on web were accurate. Very clean. Very basic for kitchen pantry items. Salt, pepper, sugar and a couple pouches of coffee. Spacious for three people. Park temporary in front of house to unload/load. The back entry was a bit to navigate especially in a downpour. Comfortable living and enjoyed our stay!”
