“The people who operate this property are amazing. They were very good to me the whole time I stayed here. One time something was wrong with my lock on the door and I couldn't get into my room. They got their mechanic there to fix it for me immediately. I felt very safe and supported. My room was clean. I would definitely stay at this property again.”

“Darren, the homeowner and innkeeper, met us at the door to this lovely home/inn. He welcomed us with a smile and conversation about the history behind Sassafras Inn and Mena, We sat and visited for about an hour. Our suite was extremely large, (2 rooms), complete with coffee and refrigerator. He then provided us with his homemade, organic blueberry muffins that were to die for. “This is the second time we have been here. The property sits off the road surrounded by woods. Very quiet, private, and clean. Fire pit outside for family gatherings as well as a nice grill/smoker in a covered sitting area While the internet is good, cell service is spotty due to location. The dwelling was single wide w rooms added. Even rock shower! Eclectic/rustic vibes. Beds are comfortable. The owners live close and are ready to assist! Can’t beat their friendliness!”
