“We had a great short 2 night stay. Such a cute and surprisingly spacious home. Decorating was just perfect and the hosts put thoughtful touches throughout. The walk to town was a nice 20 min stroll. Neighbors were quiet. The beds were a little on the firm side for us but not a dealbreaker. The family is already asking to go back!”

“This was the best little cottage ever!! It was clean, close to everything, a short walk to the beach, and so cozy! It’s a quiet area with low light so, we thoroughly enjoyed the fire pit. The beds were comfy and clean. The kitchen has everything you need to cook a meal. There are spare toys and games to use while there. It truly was my favorite so far! We can not wait to return.”

“We met our family in NC to spend the week together. NC is the halfway point between us. The cottage was clean & ready for us. The location is so convenient. We loved Ft. Macon state park & beach. Had an amazing jet ski tour with AB Water, the boys tried out fishing; overall a nice & relaxing time. I’d rebook again. The downstairs full bath is highly convenient for 6 people, only can use some ventilation. Thanks again!”

“This home was very comfortable and inviting. Our friends came up from Maryland for a couple days with their dog and it was nice to have an enclosed yard so we could trust them going out on their own if they wanted. Short walk to the water and town. Love seeing all the old homes and churches and cemeteries and the history of Beaufort North Carolina. HOME was in a very well-maintained quiet neighborhood too. Very relaxing for us as we are making our way across the country and I”

“Previously owned 2 houses closer to ocean a few streets away. Love this area. This house was absolutely amazing. EVERYTHING you needed, not one single spot of unused space. Extremely clean. Great price. Wonderful location.”

“Cute property that met our needs. The full sized kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, cutting boards, and grill accessories. The mattress was soft. Our dog enjoyed sitting on the top deck with us, and we appreciated the pullout “gate” at the top of the stairs so he could remain off leash. Hosts were great communicators!”

“The cottage was perfect for us and our two Yorkies. The only negative was its proximity to restaurants and the actual beach.”

“During our stay, we found 3 nails sticking up in the normal foot path (on the steps), 4 cockroaches, several cracks in the walls, and places in the floor that were so unlevel they didn't feel safe. We understand that this is an older house and, for the area, cockroaches aren't unusual, but we definitely canNOT recommend this house for families, especially young families.”

“The cottage is as advertised- clean and cute. The property manager and owner were very responsive to our needs. Wifi was fine. Two suggestions for others - use the back door to access the cottage as the sliding door lock is challenging. Also, if you need a quiet location to sleep please know that the Heat/AC split unit is very loud and turns on and off every 10 minutes or so. It woke me multiple times and also made TV hard to hear and conversations challenging. This may not bother others.”
