“Ett stiligt, mysigt hotell med gamla anor. Låg väldigt centralt. Vi hade lite svårt att hitta dit trots googlemaps. Hade behövts några skyltar i de smala gatorna.Mycket trevlig personal, fantastisk frukostbuffé och mysiga, gammeldags rum.”

“A change of plans took me to Hexham and the Beaumont hotel for what was to be a very pleasant experience. Arrived two hours early and was only looking to store my bagage as I fully expected to be asked to wait until regular check-in was open. Instead the hotel went the extra mile and had my room ready in a bit more than half an hour. And the Abbey and the pleasant park just across the road it was very easy to spend those 30 minutes in relaxing way. I got a spacious twin room on the 1st floor...

“We stayed at this gem of a pub on the way to Scotland. The staff are all super friendly and helpful too. The pub has excellent quality food and wines too. My husband had the steak pie, I had the fish and Chips both were outstanding. We liked it so much we booked for the following week on our way back. They are really dog friendly too! There is a beautiful dog walk around the village. Also there is a field right off the car park which is fabulous to let your dog run loose. The breakfast was...

“Was a great stay and shops restaurants easy access ”

“It was a very nice place to stay, excellent food, lively bar and clean and comfortable room. There was no welcome gift as promised by Hotels.com and there was a bit of a mix up in that although I had already paid the hotel insisted I pay again, the £300 was refunded during my stay as it was the hotels mistake.”

“Fint gammalt värdshus med trevlig personal och trevlig stämning. Verkligt lugnt läge i liten by på landet, men ändå bara 15 minuter från motorvägen. Inom en timma är man inne i nationalparkerna Lake District eller Yorkshire Dales. Ändå negativa är att hotellets restaurang är stängd på måndagar samt att sängen var i minsta laget.”

“The pub was great, cosy and food was fantastic as well as being reasonably priced. The staff are polite and very welcoming and provided lots of help throughout our stay. The room was very clean and tidy and comfortable. We will definitely be staying again and recommend this hotel to anyone. We are not dog owners but its extremely dog friendly.”

“Lovely hotel run by a lovely couple. Room was nice. Bar and restaurant modern. The evening meal was delicious. I had chicken burger and my partner lamb. There was 5 of us and all our meals were lovely. The owner sorry I never got her name was friendly and extremely accommodating. There was other family there too as it was for a wedding. We had a really enjoyable stay. The breakfast was I have to say the nicest I’ve had to date. Full English. Thank you for a wonderful stay ”
