“We were in town for the CIF Southern Sectional track meet and needed a place to stay for 5 people. The Sandbox at Solimar Sands was perfect. The Unit was clean well stocked and just a pleasant place to relax and stay. It is steps from the beach, an easy walk downtown and an excellent location. I would definitely recommend staying here.”

“Our family of four (including a one year old and three year old) stayed really comfortably between the two bedrooms. The living room / dinning area has a great amount of space to hangout in. We had more family staying in another unit and we mostly hung out in this unit for meals and movie time with that big comfy couch!”

“Great location for 6 of us - 2 kids (6 & 8), parents, and grandparents. We mostly ate dinners out. Kitchen was well appointed, but would have been a tight squeeze for dining (especially because it was a little too chilly to use the outside table). Place was spotless, well-appointed with towels and supplies, and thoughtfully designed to maximize the space. Easy walk into town for restaurants and wine, and to the ocean. “This beach house is our fav little spot. It's nearly beachfront property, very clean and a perfect stay. The owners are quick with their responses. We have stayed here two years in a row for Spring Break and have loved it every time. Zero issues! Can't wait for next year.”

“Lovely ground floor apartment with private patio. Spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated/furnished with lovely touches such as books and candles. Kitchen was very well equipped with everything you could require. Both bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious which would be a bonus for larger parties. Clear instructions given about check in and out process and helpful notes about the property and surrounding area (things to do, restaurants etc.) Location was great - an easy short walk to the beach...

“Mark was so easy to deal with. He answered all our questions promptly and his intro packet was very helpful. We stayed there almost three weeks. On our third day, the disposal stopped working. We notified Mark and the next day it was fixed. That was how easy it was to work with him. It was a great place tostay.”

We walked to everything we needed (groceries, restaurants, ice cream, surf shop) and took strolls along the beach. Multiple other beaches with surfable waves were a short drive away. Communication with the owners was great. Check in and out was seamless. It really was perfect. Highly recommended.”

“We love this house, the view and location and we had a great time. But, given the price, you expect the house to have decent furnishings. The rug downstairs was filthy and the upstairs couch was not clean and the house needs other updates. The house had been cleaned but the furnishings seemed overused and unclean. We hope the owners will inspect their property and refresh their furnishings because we would love to come back.”
