“A lovely place to stay no doubt. We had a comfortable 3 nights stay. The staff were lovely. The location was amazing. The rooms were a bit small. We did have a cotbed but it could still be a bit bigger for the kind of hotel it is. The mattress were a bit on the harder side for our liking but it depends on what you are used to. “We stayed at the cottage house which is outside the main building. It was very spacious and has an indoor jacuzzi tub which is why we booked it. The hot water is pre-heated, so it was just enough to fill the tub. There won’t be hot water after if you wanted a shower. Also, an important downside for us was the wifi signal is so weak that neither our phone nor laptops could pick any signal. Was a bit disappointed in that regard as the hotel is aware of the problem but made no effort to fix it....

“A lovely guesthouse with a lovely owner. It’s walking distance to everything in Keswick. Lots of information on walks etc provided. A fantastic cooked breakfast is included in the price.
