“We had a small window of opportunity for a trip to Highlands, NC. I found The Zen Den on VRBO and the description met what we needed. The owner gave perfect directions on how to get to our location (the gps would have never got us there) and had turned the heat on before our arrival. The place was very clean and comfortable. The cooking situation was very limited but for our short stay it was fine. For two people and a short stay the Zen Den was perfect!”

“Cute little rental neighborhood with several modular home cottages. You can hear buck creek but you can't see it. Very quiet especially because we were the only people there. Close to downtown Highlands. Small but homey and clean. Hot tub was already on and waiting for us.”

“The house is cozy, warm and nice. Very comfortable for the two of us. We stayed in the downstairs bedroom closest to the hot tub which made our weekend. Check-in couldn't be any easier. If I had to pick on something, it would be the tight parking for a full size truck. I would stay again the next time we visit Highlands.”

“We loved the seclusion of this cozy comfy cabin. The view of the mountain was spectacular. We spent late afternoons in the sun on the deck. The proximity to Highlands, Cashiers and many waterfall hikes was perfect. The cabin itself was spotless, thoughtfully stocked and decorated. The driveway was fun and not a big deal. We had our Pilot but the Honda Accord would have been just fine. Thanks for sharing your place Jennifer!”

“Beautiful location in the Toxaway Community. The drive is beautiful and close to Cashiers and Highlands. The cabin was cozy and spacious, with a beautiful backyard featuring a running creek, spacious deck, pond and fire pit. Both double beds being king size was really a plus. We reserved dinner at the Greystone Inn Restaurant twice, and also at a couple nearby restaurants. There was plenty wood stacked outside for the fire place and fire pit. “The phots and description does not do this place justice. It was well stocked and very clean. It is a simple cabin that has been created to allow for total relaxation. Has a lovely firepit with chairs to relax qnd enjoy the mountain view. Even if it rains the chairs on the porch make it perfect to curl up and listen. Our 1 year old pup absolutely loved being able to run and play and chase down her ball or Frisby.”
