Välkommen till Rovers Retreat

Stor vy stuga och yurt !! Spektakulär panoramautsikt över bergen, belägen på en höjd av 4000 ft. På privata 3 hektar med pälsvänlig 1 BR / 1. 5 Bath loft stuga (750 SF) och fristående 1 BR / .5 Bath guest yurt studio (350 SF). Bara 10 minuter från Cashiers, Lake Glenville & Panthertown Valley. Sovplatser 2 till 6 personer mycket bekvämt. Perfekt för singel, par och barn. Stor skärmad veranda med sittplatser och en inhägnad sidogård för stora och små hundar. Utanför finns en kolgrill och vedeldad eldgrop.

1 sovrum loftstuga med 1. 5 bad, öppen planlösning på huvudplan med LR, komplett kök och badrum. 2: a våningen sovrummet loft med 1/2 bad har king size-säng, också dra ut barnsäng. Sova för 2 nere på hopfällbar schäslong. DirectV, satellit-TV, WiFi, Netflix-filmer. Vedeldad spis med glasdörr, gasspisvärme, elvärme och A / C-enhet. Köket har diskmaskin, kylskåp, spis, ugn, mikrovågsugn, små apparater, porslin, glas, köksredskap och alla grundläggande redskap. W & D, fullt modernt bad med stor duschkabin och läderstolar för 6 (soffa, stol och schäslongssoffa).

Guest yurt studio (350 SF trendig, modern, isolerad, cirkulär träramad struktur med dukväggar / tak med gittermurar, på träfundament) ligger bara 100 meter från huvudstugan.
Gästgårdsstudion har fullt pentry med kylskåp, spis, handfat, små apparater. Ductless VVS-system, queen size-säng, kärlekssits med utdragbar enkelsäng, stol och ottoman, TV med inbyggd DVD-spelare / Directv och WiFi. 1/2 bad, trägolv, massor av dagsljus med surroundfönster och opererbart takfönster och främre däck med fantastisk utsikt över bergen.

Den bästa egenskapen hos den här fastigheten är den 3 hektar stora, privata, 4000-fots höjden med gräsmattaområden (bacci court & cornhole) för att koppla av och njuta av den fantastiska panoramautsikten över Sapphire Valley och de fantastiska granitrockarna i bergen. Beläget bara 5 minuter från Panthertown Valley, aka "Yosemite of the East" (6700 hektar paradis för mountainbike, backpacking, öringfiske, klara simning hål med stränder och vandring), mer än 20 av de finaste vattenfall inom 30 minuter, Lake Glenville (högsta höjd sjö öster om Mississippi), Whiteside Mountain (utmärkt utsikt över klippor med 700 "höga klippväggar), Whitewater Falls (högsta vattenfall öster om Rockies som stör en svimlande 411 meter) och Gorges State Park, aka "Gorgeous" på grund av dess unika vattenfall, robusta flodgorge, rena klippor och fantastiskt växtliv.

Host was great on communication. House and yurt was very clean and well stocked. The view from their cabin is beautiful sunrise spectacular. Will definitely stay here again if in the area. Highly recommend. Great for a dog to stay while on vacation.

Property is in a great location, both close to things yet remote. Couldnt see or hear neighbors for most part. My family loved the outdoor space and i appreciated that it was fenced in. My dog enjoyed roaming and laying by the fire.

Kim was great to work with and we loved staying at her property. The yard and view are amazing! Our two dogs enjoyed the yard and it was safe for them to explore. My daughter loved the swing! Great location to explore the NC mountains and go for a hike. We look forward to coming back!

We had wonderful and relaxing time at Rover’s Retreat Oct 5-9. We loved how cozy the cabin was and our girls (11 and 14) enjoyed staying in the yurt! The location was great and the views were beautiful! Our dog,Piper, loved being able to roam freely around the fenced in property and check everything out! Kim, the owner was very responsive and communication was excellent! Some of our favorite adventures were Whiteside Mountain, Dry Falls, Cullasaja Falls, Whitewater Falls, High Falls which we hiked from the lower entrance, and Silver Run Falls! We enjoyed the pizza from Slab Town and loved the food and vibe at Happ’s place in Glenville. Our favorite coffee stop was at Outpost Inn in Highlands. We played some family corn hole that was available at the cabin, and the girls loved the swing! We look forward to coming back and exploring and relaxing more!

Our retreat was Awesome! The most restful vacation I’ve ever taken. Our 2 pups enjoyed their freedom on the property and chasing resident wildlife. Squirrels mostly (white ones too) ! Wonderful, comfortable , well equipped cabin with Beautiful long range, mountain ridge to valley views looking toward E/SE. The owner was very friendly, courteous , informative, communicative and responsive. No issue with booking or our stay . Plenty of outdoor activities nearby for those seeking mountain adventure, nature, culture, history, relaxation, etc. “Rovers Retreat” it’s a wonderful place to hang your leash…..

We LOVED our weekend getaway at Rover's Retreat!! Our pups made full use of all of the smells within the large, fenced outdoor area. The home itself was clean and cozy with all the big touches (fully supplied kitchen, washer/dryer, quality linens/bedding) and small touches (bug screen on the door so we could enjoy the cool mountain air while cooking and letting our pups roam outside, traction strips on the wood stairs, providing a flashlight and dry firewood) to make our stay perfect. We were close to multiple points of interest while also having utter peace and seclusion. We will be back!

Wonderful, private stay in the mountains!

I cannot recommend Rovers Retreat enough!! The cabin was perfect, very cute, with very comfortable amenities and everything that we needed for our stay. The property is absolutely beautiful with an incredible view right out the front door. We loved sitting at the picnic table, in the Adirondack chairs, and around the fire pit. My kids loved the hammock and swing, too. There are so many great places to hike and explore nearby - definitely recommend Rainbow Falls. The owner was just wonderful, very communicative, kind, and helpful! Our dogs had the best time ever and we're so happy to come along! The fenced in property gave them plenty of room to roam. You won't regret staying here!

Perfect Retreat

This was the perfect retreat for us and for our dogs after the hurricane in Asheville. Kim knew we did not have water and were looking for a break for a couple of days to take showers and to do laundry. She was incredibly responsive and thoughtful. The property was amazing, allowing us a break while allowing our dogs to roam. Just what we needed and they absolutely loved it. We could not have chosen a better location.

AMAZING EXPERIENCE

Where to start.... First of all this property is one of a kind and exceeds the description and pictures. The hosts were extremely helpful and made us feel like family. Given the recent devastation of Hurricane Helene we were concerned about traveling but Kim and Brad were communicative and helped to put all our fears at ease. The cabin is extremely clean, grounds well maintained, and the amenities unmatched. Our 3 year old Shepadoodle had the time of his life, as did we! We are already thinking about our next trip and you should too!!

Beautiful view!

We enjoyed our stay in this cabin. The view is beautiful! Had a couple of minor issues but the owner was very responsive to help get it corrected. So many great hikes in the area and the cabin was dog friendly!
