“We arrived unannounced but they were ready to please. Staff is VERY attentive and cordial. The property and location are pristine and every detail has been thought of, from the architecture down to the design and details in the rooms. A bit remote, but if you bring or rent a car then its the perfect spot to stay for a few really relaxing days. Will repeat.”

“We wished we had stayed longer. This is a wonderful property, well maintained and the owners are close by. The back yard is beautifully landscaped and offers a full view of the volcano covered deck area and a small pool to cool off in. Beds are comfortable and the house offers everything you could need. La Fortuna is a hidden gem. I have been to CR over 40 times and never made it here. Great restaurants and activities and a wonderful place to relax when the day is over. Highly recomended.”

“We loved the Paradis Peak villa! Steve and Nancy were wonderful hosts and gave several suggestions on activities available in their area. Loved our visits with the Rottie girls as well, they were a real treat. I would recommend contacting host for better directions than google maps. Roads can be a bit challenging. And did i mention the bird watching! Awesome!!!”

“We were amazed at the sounds and sights while staying here! So many birds, monkeys and even an otter came to visit the pond! It was fun playing in the pool and the rain! Not too far from La Fortuna and small convenience shops at the end of the road. The kitchen isn’t really suitable for cooking for a family and isn’t very well equipped so probably best to eat out or make snacks only. The AC worked well and we enjoyed our stay here! Would recommend 😊👍”

“Great place to stay in La Fortuna! Close to restaurants and shops. Easy to get to and park on property. We could see a sloth from the back yard. Had a small problem due to very heavy rain but the management group were great and helped us out right away.”
