No AC, but room is designed for that with large screens just below the ceiling and a big overhead fan. “We absolutely loved our time at Casa Horizonte. The view is gorgeous and the hosts could not have been nicer. We had 2 families traveling together with 8 children and they were so helpful. The house is a little bit of a walk up a hill but totally worth it for the views. Don Pedro drove all of our bags up for us. We hired Martin to cook us delicious dinners 2 of the nights so we didn’t have to take all the kids out to restaurants. It was a perfect stay.”

“Efter ett par felkörningar på knaggliga vägar kom vi rätt! Ett nybyggt hotell med smakfullt inredda rum och en vidunderlig utsikt över Stilla havet och regnskogen. Darryl och Rebecka från Canada gjorde allt för att vi skulle trivas. Den lilla poolen svalkade skönt i värmen. Frukosten var utmärkt och serverades på balkongen. Bra restauranger fanns i grannskapet, men krävde att man tog bilen pga avstånd och dåligt upplysta vägar. Vi trivdes så bra att vi stannade en extra natt. Lugn och vacker...

“Beautiful setting. Pond with foliage all around. A bit secluded though. Rooms were amazing. Open spaces in room & large shower area. You can definitely hear the jungle. It felt like glamping in the jungle. The breakfast was delicious & homemade. At your convenience as well. Wish there was meat though. Hosts were lovely & friendly. Very accommodating. The price equals what you receive. It was a bit costly though if you are on a budget. Lots of positives including amenities!”

“We ended our first trip to Costa Rica, in Uvita, at Nature's Edge. We travelled the Pacific Coast, but it wasn't until we got to Uvita that we experienced the true jungle. Nature's Edge is tucked away about 2 miles up a steep road (you truly do need a 4x4 to access it, but we had a little AWD Suzuki, that we put in manual mode, and that did the trick just fine). Once you turn into the property you pass the first two casita's on your left, and if you're lucky, you booked one of the lower casitas...

“Jessica the owner was so helpful and amazing customer service. The place is wonderful and infinity pool was great. She also advised us places to visit which were really helpful. Jessica was always there when you need her. Plenty of food for breakfast which is served near the pool and astonishing view over the mountains, valleys , forest and even the sea!!!!!! “Hade en ok övernattning här innan vi flög ut från Puerto Jiménez. Vi hade ingen egen bil, så läget var inte helt optimalt. Långt från piren och långt från den delen av centrum där man kunde boka turer. Man kunde eventuellt få hjälp med turboxning genom hotellet dock, men vi utnyttjade inte det. Var inte helt tydligt vad som ingick till frukosten. Vid incheckning sa ägaren att "kaffe" ingick, men det visade sig vara en mer fullständig frukost med frukttallrik och äggröra. The air conditioner was barely able to cool the room enough for daytime sleeping probably due to poor seals around the window and door.The shower was cold water only and was missing a shower head so water just poured out of an open pipe....functionally okay.
