“The cabin was absolutely great! It was very clean. If you have kids, they have a baby gate, pack & play and booster seat. They even had supplies for your pup. The sauna was great and got nice and hot. We very much enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others. The hosts were very quick to respond.”

“We had such a wonderful couple days of peaceful serenity while staying at the Hannu Haus. There were do many special touches to the decor that added to the warmth & coziness of the log cabin. It had plenty of space to entertain and well thought out ideas for keeping children occupied. The coffee bar was exceptionally awesome and we all enjoyed the great coffee beverages that the Jura made!! I would give the Hannu -Hause 10 stars!! We hope to come back again!!”

“We were very happy with our stay at the Nordic Haus. Check in and out was very easy. It’s nice to have a hot tub to soak in and gives the kids something to do at night because skiing closes by 4pm. The only thing was it says it’s 6 bedroom but it’s only 5 bedroom and then has two beds in the loft. The loft is basically part of the living room so we couldn’t have anyone sleep in those beds or they would be kept awake at night by the noise and then woke up early with any early risers making coffee...

“Came up to the UP for a weekend ski trip and this year despite the lack of snow had a good day of skiing at Snow River in sweatshirts! The campfire Lodge was perfect for our family of 6. The bedrooms are close together upstairs, which is fine for a family and great to have two bathrooms. The kitchen is very nice and the dining area was great for playing cards. Loved having a large sectional so we could all laugh about our day. We will definitely come back. Location is perfect at Powderhorn...

“We had a fantastic time staying at the Timbuktu Chalet. The location is great - very close to multiple ski areas, incredible hiking, and lake Superior destinations. The place itself was clean, no fuss, kitchen was fully stocked, and we made use of both the hot tub and sauna! Aaron was a fantastic host, and even gave us homemade jam as a Christmas surprise.”

“We enjoyed our stay at this property. Parking could be a bit challenging. We preferred this accommodation for privacy and the ability to relax and make coffee and eat breakfast in the cabin. The only misunderstanding was the cleaning fee having to be handled over the phone because there is NO OFFICE at the location and the phone number was with a person at another hotel, who was managing the fee. ”

“The cabin was very charming, nicely decorated and very clean. The neighboring cabins were kind of close and a few cabins down, they ran chain saws all day. I enjoyed watching the loons, eagles and a baby otter on the lake. Hope the little guy survives the eagles. All is all, a very nice week.”
