“If you want to all stay in one place and prepare meals together, this is your ideal place! We enjoyed hanging out on the porch and all of the different hang out spots are fun and cozy. I would suggest adding some games and directions on how to use the large coffee pot! There was everything you needed here to include fans for everyone! We would definitely book again!”

“Our stay at this property was so awesome. The location was great, the bedrooms were very spacious, the Hot Tub was amazing (especially after a long day of being on the trails). The house was just very warm and cozy and it felt like home. We will for sure be coming back in the future!!”

“Our family really enjoyed our stay at the Francis House! The house housed 8 comfortably with plenty of interesting rooms for the kids (and adults) to explore, a great yard, and stocked firepit. The location couldn't have been better, minutes from downtown Ontonagon, right down the street from groceries/gas, and smack dab in the middle of all the hiking, beaches, and waterfalls you could ask for.”

“We had a great time, the house was very comfortable for two families with teens, it was great to have 2 separate living rooms to hang out in. The house is conveniently close to Ski Brule, where the kids had a wonderful time. It was the only ski resort in the midwest open this Christmas and we were happy to discover that it’s a great place to ski!”

“We enjoyed our stay at this property. Parking could be a bit challenging. We preferred this accommodation for privacy and the ability to relax and make coffee and eat breakfast in the cabin. The only misunderstanding was the cleaning fee having to be handled over the phone because there is NO OFFICE at the location and the phone number was with a person at another hotel, who was managing the fee. ”

“The cabin was very charming, nicely decorated and very clean. The neighboring cabins were kind of close and a few cabins down, they ran chain saws all day. I enjoyed watching the loons, eagles and a baby otter on the lake. Hope the little guy survives the eagles. All is all, a very nice week.”

“Super close to water and town which was nice if ya needed anything. Plenty of beds and bathrooms for everyone also. Definitely be back ”
