“From booking to check out everything was great. Room was super clean and comfortable and we loved the extra treats in our room 😊 so close to a bar/restaurant and gas station. The restaurant next door has great food and service too! Only thing to mention is there is no sign by the road so we did pass it the 1st time. But would stay here again. So convenient to our family in Gwinn and Skandia”

“We rented apt 1. Location is a great take off spot for exploring Pictured Rocks area. You can also take a morning or evening walking stroll right from the location to local eateries, bars and other points of interest. Or you can take advantage of fully equipped kitchen to eat in. “This simple, no-frills, property was close to everything! We could walk to NMU campus, downtown, and lots of cafes right down the block. As noted in the listing, it is right across the street from BlackrocksBrewery, so we could hear music from our rooms and a little bit of street noise from people leaving. There was a fan provided, that helped with white noise, so everyone was able to sleep OK.”

“We were five friends visiting the UP for our annual ski trip and this was the most pleasant stay we've ever had! There was so much space for all of us to exist without feeling cramped. We enjoyed cooking breakfast and dinner in the well-equipped kitchen. The hot tub was so nice to relax our sore muscles. The non-skiers among us appreciated being in town to wander around to shops and cafes while the rest of us were on the slopes. It's clear a lot of care and love went into this apartment....

“This was the perfect location for our home base with friends as there are two apartments to give us our own space next to each other. We spent our days hiking to see the nearby waterfalls and ice caves and from the apartment we watched eagles in the bay. This was our second stay at this property and would recommend to anyone looking to explore the Munising area.”

“Clean and manicured living space. The host is helpful and clear with communication. Very quick response when we had an issue with the door lock. We forgot our 1 year old's blanket and the host was willing to personally mail it to us which we appreciated so much!”

“We enjoyed our stay at this property. Parking could be a bit challenging. We preferred this accommodation for privacy and the ability to relax and make coffee and eat breakfast in the cabin. The only misunderstanding was the cleaning fee having to be handled over the phone because there is NO OFFICE at the location and the phone number was with a person at another hotel, who was managing the fee. ”

“The cabin was very charming, nicely decorated and very clean. The neighboring cabins were kind of close and a few cabins down, they ran chain saws all day. I enjoyed watching the loons, eagles and a baby otter on the lake. Hope the little guy survives the eagles. All is all, a very nice week.”
