âDonât expect luxury but a good, modern hotel with cleaning only when requested. Bed was excellent as was the penthouse restaurant/bar. Valet parking and garage available in the building. âParking was a bit confusing, but was able to figure out meter parking on the street. Great walkability to restaurants, lounges, and theatre in the area. Did not interact with any staff as we arrived after "front desk hours."â

âIt was very easy to get in and the interior was clean and beautiful. However, I had trouble sleeping in my bed (very little to no airflow in the bedroom) and would suggest bringing a bedside fan if you stay here in the summer. Otherwise our stay turned out great!â

âThe Emily Hotel was in a convenient area of Chicago close to the family wedding we were attending in mid-September.
Rooms were clean modern and had loads of desk space but no dressers or nightstands.
Staff was helpful in telling us about the nearby parking garage beneath the Google building across the street. We parked our car there for $57/ day vs Valet for $85 (with unlimited in and) at The Emily.
We would stay there again. â

âVery nice stay. Only negative was when checking in our room wasn't ready and we were told we would get a text when it was. We checked our bags at the desk and left to see the city and never got any notice our room was ready. When we got back to hotel around midnight after a concert we had to finish checking in. Turns out the person hadn't checked us in but only held a room for us. If the room had been ready earlier we would have stopped back in to finish check in as opposed to doing it late at...

âExcellent hotel, my only complaint would be the Peninsula food service.
We ate at the Shanghai Terrace our first night on site and honestly the food was only 2 stars. Specifically the appetizers were minuscule, and 90% pastry dough. Whatever filling was supposed to be inside all the dough largely wasnât. The whole Peking duck was arranged haphazardly on the plate, the skin was not really crispy, and the taste experience was completely lackluster.
