“Wonderful property, staff amazing.
Only "gripes" are - four poster bed is a *little* small, it's the equivalent of a small double bed. Also, the shower doesn't have much power.
It's an older, historical property, so do factor that into a stay.
As highlighted above though, the staff were brilliant, and the (included) breakfast was sublime.

“Fabulous location overlooking the market place with convenient free parking options. The room was lovely and bed very comfortable. Aylsham is a gorgeous place to visit and the unique ships, range of restaurants and warm welcome from the people who live and work there have left a really positive and heart warming impression on me. I’ll definitely be returning and look forward to seeing the new developments there as it really is a place that’s growing and developing. ”
“Clean ,comfortable room. Great breakfast included in the price of stay. Enjoyed a lovely dinner in the restaurant. Parking is a bit of an issue as the car parking is very limited. Very welcoming friendly staff. Would definitely recommend.”
“The Plough is a good class pub with clean, modern rooms. What makes them special is that it's such a friendly place to stay and the pub food is excellent. We were there for five days and I could have done with a few more to work my way through the menu. We'll also certainly miss their breakfasts.
It is situated well for visiting Norwich and the Norfolk Coast.
It's true that you can hear the busy road with the window open, but hey, life's a compromise and we'll happily take that.”

“ Booked overnight stay following a music event nearby. Booked Riverside Hotel, but they obviously own several properties nearby. Our room was in a converted house up a side road so sadly no Riverside view. Room was very preventable. Needs a net curtain at window to aid privacy, better quality mattresses and pillows. Cleaner needs to look up & dust light fittings. ”
“Lovely room. Ours was at the top, it was a hot night and heat rises! We did have the windows open but it’s quite a busy road so lots of road noise. The blind also let in a lot of light too and if light sensitive there was a bright green light shinning in the ceiling. Bed very comfortable as were the pillows. Restaurant packed and the food was good. I had the roast and my husband had the mutton curry - huge potions. Staff very helpful and smiley but rushed off their feet. ”

“Had an absolutely fabulous week at the Parson Woodforde. The staff are all so friendly and welcoming and a credit to Mark and Maria :) The food was incredible, all local produce with lovely fresh seafood specials and all very well seasoned! The roast on Sunday was one of the best I’ve ever had and we were made to feel very welcome and given loads of useful local information, nothing was too much trouble and the rooms were immaculate.
