“The room was nice and the breakfast, great. The only problem was that the pool was closed, and we had seen no announcement or indication that that was going to be the case. Since we travel with kids, the pool makes an enormous difference when we pick somewhere to stay. We paid a higher nightly price overall because we saw that this hotel had a pool. In other words, we paid for a service that we did not receive.”

“The staff are genuinely nice and professional. We had returned one night and a car with lots of stuff in it door was open. Unloading, returning or error? Front desk said if no one came in 10 minutes she would close the door. Welcoming atmosphere, clean remodeled room. We stay here several times a year when we return ‘home’ to JC. The staff reflects JC very well.”

“As another reviewer said, the pictures posted by the hotel are deceptive. This place smelled so bad throughout, we checked out immediately upon seeing/smelling the room. I should have looked at more of the reviews. Things look dirty and dated, including carpeting and furniture throughout the building. It has the stench of urine/wet dog as soon as you walk in.
