âA lovely safe B&B a short drive from downtown Cape Town. Easy to find on the way from the airport.
We were greeted in a friendly and professional way. Our room very cozy yet huge. The one thing that took us by surprise was the door between the bedroom and the bathroom. Beeing Scandinavians used to privacy a partially unstained glassdoor feels a bit awkward but easily solved with one of us going to the nice honestybar/WiFi area ;)

âThey are so sweet and caring at the guest house, it feels like you are visiting someoneâs home. They offer a nice breakfast and the area is safe and the guest house is gated. I can really recommend this place for anyone visiting Cape Town and wants to stay close to the city. â
âAcceptable standards but, unfortunaly, the Riversong Guest House is tucked away in a sort of backyard of Cape Town. Sorry but safe comfort is of prime importance to us.â
âOh how lovely to be in a creative environment and enjoy the lovely pottery pieces all over the property. It's a very relaxed atmosphere. We were so appreciative to be able to use the washing machine too.
There are some lovely restaurants a 5 min walk away in Second Avenue.
We will definitely be back next year on our return to Cape Town.â

âI have stayed at Fernwood Manor for many years and the standards are always excellent. The staff are so helpful - nothing is too much trouble for them. Breakfast is legendary and always freshly cooked. The gardens are immaculate and the poll - devine. I cannot recommend it highly enough ! â

The rooms are spacious and well equipped. Breakfast includes plenty of choices for everybody. Constantia is perfect if you are looking for a place close to Cape Town but safe and quiet.â
