Average hotel
I stayed in this hotel for few days. Customer service needs improved. Got better service from the male staff than the female staff. Wifi and TV in my room did not work through out my stay even though I reported about the wifi. I had so much expectation knowing that the hotel Is located in a vibrant place like Osu but got disappointed.

Good location.
The hotel is in a very good location, close to the nightlife and restaurants in OSU but also not too far by car to the beach. The concept of the hotel is good and overall it is a clean place. Breakfast was good with choices. But I have to complain about the lady working at the reception. Her attitude and non- service mind was awful. She checked us in a smaller room than it was booked (which I corrected by speaking to her colleague). She had attitude towards every little thing one asked her. Her colleague were helpful and service minded, but that lady really made our stay annoying.

Found customer service very poor. I experienced (3) issues; asked to speak to a manager and received a weak "sorry" nothing done to erradicate their issues. The apology felt forced and ingenuine. 1. Debit Card left with staff accidentally and no one contacted me; it was upon my discovery that I found it was missing and had to reach out to hote. 2. Security allowed a local into the building. He joined me in the elevator; got off my floor and pushed for my contact information. I felt very unsafe. 3. Items removed from room at time of cleaning and never contacted me. I called hotel; went to retrieve items and staff could not retrieve. No one knew where it was. I waited until the next day; had to contact hotel AGAIN. I was then inconvenienced to return to said hotel after moving to a new place. I asked them to deliver after all my concerns and they refused. I reported all of this to the manager. Her facial expression never changed when explaining it all and she simply said "sorry". It was very unapologetic. I then asked to be contacted and the same manager simply sent me a text saying again "sorry". No accountability; no consequence, no refund, no offer for additional stay, wouldn't even deliver items that they were clearly trying to keep. Horrible experience. I moved to another hotel nearby - much better customer service and attention to detail.

The property was super convenient even though the ladies of the evening were all over Oxford St. Stuff was super pleasant and acomodating, facility was super clean, loved my room... areas of imporovement for me was to vend espresso coffee as it is hard to find strong coffee in Accra. Last but not least, I rated the hotel one less start due to an evening where the power in my room kept going out where the stuff finally allowed me to spend the night in a different room which disturbed my sleep. I will strongly suggest for others to stay at Urbano and plan to stay there again should I visit Accra again.

DO NOT BOOK OR STAY HERE! I was mis-sold a Duplex room which was meant to have 1 x Queen bed and 1 x Double Sofa bed, upon arrival the "welcome" was abrupt, rude and she could not have been less enthusiastic. The room has been changed compared to their photos online and as you can see from my photos the sofa bed is no longer there, it is literally just a sofa, which you can't sleep on. I was told to simply move the sofa cushions and sleep on the floor!! They didn't even hide the fact that the "sofa bed" wasn't a bed, because upon entering the room it didn't even have any bedding. Whilst I was offered a twin room, this room is not the same as a duplex and I would not have been granted any refund for the difference...so that'd be a no thanks. I literally checked out because there was other issues including: - Bathroom window was broken and could not be closed meaning the temperature was 35 degrees - Bedroom windows were not soundproofed and being on Oxford Street you can hear EVERYTHING so good luck if you'd like to sleep - The hotel is directly underneath the flight path of the nearby airport which was very loud due to the issue with no soundproofing The most shocking thing is that nobody, not one review so far seems to mention that this place is in the middle of a red-light district. When you leave the hotel door you'll approached by MANY prostitutes, hawkers and beggars who will follow you and demand money without taking no for an answer.

They were very convenient & helpful. The food was delicious at their restaurants. My room had a beautiful flower on the wall almost like it could be hand painted. The only drawback is there is no elevator to go up. They do help you up & downstairs with your bags.

The property was in a great location. There are dining options, lounges, ShopRite and many vendors in the area. The hotel is fairly small but the staff is very attentive. I had an issue because the duplex I booked advertised a sleep sofa but there was actually a small loveseat that a Did not convert to a bed. They offered to put a mattress on the floor which was totally unacceptable. We were then moved to a small room with two twin beds. I chose this hotel and the room I booked because of the space it offered so I was very disappointed. Thankfully, I only booked for one night. The advertised breakfast was not very appetizing but I am very selective so I don’t fault the hotel. I would likely chose a different hotel if I returned. The I ❤️Accra sign right outside the door was an added plus. It is a great photo backdrop.

My Stay in Ghana
Everyone at Urbano provided exceptional customer service. I received a warm welcome upon my arrival. Offered a glass of a traditional Ghana drink which was very tasty. My room was lovely. The shower water flow was excellent. I loved the room decor! On my return to Ghan I will definitely be staying at Urbano!

Generally, my experience at Urbano was great other than issues with my room not being ready on my first night meaning I needed to be place in an upgraded room and move the next day. Had the upgraded room been well maintained, with a working a/c this would’ve been great, but there were definitely visible signs of age and wear reducing the cleanliness feel. However, one I was given my actual room the space and maintenance was great, breakfast had good options, staff were friendly. Two issues here was the lack of standard drink options e.g., malt and coke at the bar and that without the a/c you could smell the rodent that had did in the ceiling.

Das Zimmer ist sehr sauber und auch gut eingerichtet. Das Personal ist sehr hilfreich. Leider ist im Zimmer (Studioappartment mit Miniküche) kein Wasserkocher vorhanden. Vorteilhaft wäre es auch gewesen wenigstens Portionsbeutel mit Kaffee und Tee vorhanden gewesen wären. Insgesamt eine der Besten Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten in der Oxford Street in Accra.

Zouden om 14:00 kunnen inchecken, dit werd 19:30. We kregen een hele kleine kamer toegewezen om te wachten. We zouden ter compensatie een etentje krijgen in het restaurant. Daarna werd het alleen eten zonder drinken dat moesten we zelf betalen. Verder is de ligging ideaal van het hotel. Alles was verder schoon en personeel vriendelijk.

A decent, but not outstanding option in Accra
Overall this is a decent place. The staff is friendly, the gym is solid, and the rooms are alright. Breakfast could be better…there’s very little fruit. Also, the beds are rather hard, and towels are hard to come by.

Urbano Accra - Good location but Small Rooms
Room light was pathetic, quite dark and dismal. Electrical sockets were not working properly the first day but the staff took care of it the next day. Room is quite small and claustrophobic. Service / Staff is reasonable and make up for the negatives in a way. Also, the location is fantastic.

The hotel is located near many restaurants and nightlife. The staff was very helpful and attentive. Upon arrival after a long flight the staff allowed me to check in early to get some rest before I started my day. For me as a solo traveler they made me feel very welcomed.
