Spend your days spotting the wildlife that passes through the area, including the stags that reside on the estate or splash in the river. Kinlochewe village (3 miles) has a selection of shops, restaurants and pubs and is a popular destination for walkers, climbers and anglers. From the village take the woodland trail through the pine forest for views over Loch Maree or spend the day hiking the Torridon Hills (10 miles). Explore Scotland on the water at Gairloch (15 miles) on a canoe or kayak adventure, or go in search of seals, porpoises and whales on a cruise through the open waters of the North Minch.

Accessed down a 3-mile long rough track, this holiday hideaway is a remote escape for the whole family to enjoy. With no neighbours in sight, step out of your car and absorb the tranquillity of your surroundings, with only the cry of the birds overhead breaking the silence. Head into your holiday cottage where you will find light and airy open-plan accommodation with breathtaking views of the countryside and river. Curl up on the cosy sofa in the living room and while away the hours watching the ever-changing landscape through the patio doors, or gaze through the telescope spotting birds and beasts among the trees, or when the sun sets explore the stars in the clear dark skies.
