“Off grid cabin / eco tiny home in a scenic area in the hills above Hahndorf. The property had 8 cabins which were really well spaced out giving a feeling of privacy and the area had many birds and kangaroos. Well laid out cabin with thoughtful additions from the host such as kindle/firefighter and matches for the koonara. A lovely stay, highly recommend.”

“Beautiful cottage nestled in the hills. We have enjoyed relaxing in front of the cosy fire and snuggling into king sized beds. The kitchen looks out onto a gorgeous view. Close to lots of excellent wineries - we particularly enjoyed spanish tapas at Tilbrook estate - recommended in the fantastic guide in the house and getting lamb shanks from the Lobethal hotel to have with a bottle of Shiraz from Tagai cellar door just across the road. “Thanks for the stay. New ownership transition takes time and I found the experience not well.
The property has potential, though maintenance updates to increase guest experience would help. However, the laundry was not operational, TV reception weak, the shower quite lukewarm and a water heater would be helpful here. Free parking 🅿️ is a bonus.”
“Unfortunately the flicker didn't work for my stove top so had to use a lighter but other than that it was great the kitchen had things to cook and eat with. Also the door to main bedroom isn't lockable so would definately recommend that .”

The CABN was so cute! I followed a previous travelers advice and brought my own bath mat as the water from the shower goes everywhere and no one likes cold feet! Unfortunately there was no salt available as stated, so it’s lucky we had brought our own otherwise it would be annoying to drive back to town.
I had magical mornings waking up with the fire and reading a book looking out at the pines. Just wish you couldn’t see the other CABNS! To make it...
