Not to far from the center of North Creek. A small town where we went to eat. We ended up at a wine bar and were stunned that so good places could be found right there.

âOverall excellent. A few complaints: handles to open and close the blinds on the north-facing door were removed and it was uncomfortable sleeping with the blinds cracked open. We arrived late and were not sure what was across from our room. Also, the water temperature was difficult to adjust mainly because the hot water was extremely hot! Otherwise I would stay here again and recommend the property to others. â
âThis was a fun place to stay. Kind of quirky, certainly unique. Clean and spacious and with a Scandinavian vibe.
Could have used an extra hook or two for towels and the sink was a challenge as water tended to splash over onto the floor. Free use of bikes and an outdoor sauna added to the special atmosphere. They also offer a couple of glamping options. Cool.
We tried the breakfast basket option one morning. Sharp idea. We would stay here again, without question. â

The mattress in our deluxe king was sunken in the middle and the pillows were too big and fat for me. A little updating would do wonders, but overall, I would definitely recommend this property.â

âI recently stayed at the Snowshoe Lodge in Lake Placid, NY, and it was an absolute gem! The lodge was super cute and impeccably clean, creating such a cozy and welcoming vibe. I especially loved the separate living area with a kitchenette, which made it so convenient for relaxing and whipping up quick meals. The location couldnât have been more perfectâwithin walking distance to the charming downtown Lake Placid, with its shops and restaurants, and just a short drive to some fantastic hiking...
âThe Hotel in general needs an update. Friendly frontdesk but standard of the room was very poor. Broken Windows and broken door. Old and dirty carpet. Procent not relevant to the poor standard. â
âI was there to visit a relative in the Saranac Lake hospital. The hotel was an easy commute to the hospital. The room was great. It was nice to walk along the lake and in the town before visiting hours. I didnât find many places to eat in town, which was a down-side. But the restaurant attached to the hotel was good and convenient.â
