“Amazing breakfast buffet with Japanese and Western options. The hotel has private and public onsens. Very good facilities, including a sauna. Unlike other places, it was free of charge and without prior reservation. 5 min walk to the city center. The hotel offers free regular shuttles but it was so close and pretty that we just walked ”

“Fabulous stay. Clean, comfy, and within walking distance to the entirety of Kusatsu Onsen. The japanese breakfast was excellent. Relaxing indoors and outdoors onsen despite being in a town full of them. Bit of a language barrier for some of the staff but nothing that should surprise anyone who've travelled around Japan for a bit. Pick the yukata that catches your eye and be sure to stroll through town clad in it during the evening.”

“If you can book this hotel, don’t hesitate, it’s breathtaking. Best onsen hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The “stone” bath is peak, with both big indoor & outdoor bathing areas + a sauna beautifully put together. The inside of the hotel is magical too,, feels like you’re inside a Japanese castle. It even has a game center, kids room, table tennis, karaoke rooms, swimming pool, outdoor footbath in the garden ETC. I’m literally speechless at this place, very impressive. Buffé dinner was about 3300yen...

“Great forest view and the whole stay experience is nice. It is in the rural area so there is no sight seeing spot around. The shuttle bus to hotel need to reserve first, not hop-on hop-off type.”
