Enjoyable comfortable stay
We enjoyed our stay at Leonardo’s. It was in a lovely setting on the Amalfi coast, and we requested a room with a sea view. They did not offer breakfast when we were there, but there were a couple of cafes up the road serving coffee and pastries. Parking was very limited but we were able to find a space outside in the road. Our room was comfortable although the shower was quite small. They entertained two big parties downstairs whilst we were there but they didn’t disturb us at all.

Would not go again
Room was unclean and needs renovation (pictures are not truthfull at all). Also the host didn’t find my reservation and seemed angry when we arrived since he told he had saved the room for someone else. The shower was the tiniest (50x50 cm?) and the bed and pillows were very hard and uncomfotable. ”Breakfast” was served to tables and when I was asked what I wanted to drink the host didn’t seem to listen and brought the opposite for what I said. Even though the booking was last minute and we didn’t expect much the basic standards were not met. We had booked two nights but stayed only one. Plus for AC that worked.

La posizione dell’hotel é molto buona, non cosí il servizio, non é possibile che il gestore no chi per lui non sia disponibile al momento della partenza alle 8,30 del mattino per poter pagare il conto e che si arrabbi peché aveva dovuto svegliarsi per poter darvi il conto, difficilmente, anzi sicuramente non andremo piú in questo hotel.

We had a really lovely stay at Leonardo's... Enzo the owner is very friendly and welcoming, and we ate twice in the restaurant - both times the food was fantastic and very reasonably priced. There are some lovely sea views, both from our balcony and from the restaurant itself. The only reason I haven't said 5 stars is that (a) the walls are quite thin; we could hear the people next door and a party took place downstairs one evening which was very loud and kept us awake..... and (b) the breakfast wasn't great; you don't get any choice of what you have, and it wasn't to our taste. However these things do not stop me from recommending this lovely hotel. Agerola isn't anything special in itself but Positano, Amalfi, Pompeii and many other great places are all an easy drive and this is a great central location to explore from.

Best service I’ve ever had. The owner works hard and caters to whatever you need above and beyond. Lovely hospitable free continental breakfast with the best cappuccinos. I will be back! You don’t really need AC because you can have the windows open. But if you do they will turn it on. The air is fresh. If you have issues sleeping in a bed different from your own I recommend bringing a mattress pad for a little extra comfort.

Abbiamo avuto la stanza in una parte della struttura che sembrava una dependance nel sottotetto; ciò ha determinato la presenza di un bagno cieco privo di aerazione. Peccato, perchè la stanza era ottima, confortevole e silenziosa, pulita e con una bella vista sul mare. Decisamente da migliorare il livello della colazione, in particolare del caffè con latte. Meglio chiedere esplicitamente un espresso! Staff molto impegnato con l'annesso ristorante; si fà un pò fatica a trovarli. Comunque disponibili. La posizione è ottima solo per chi desidera fare trekking. Il mare sembra vicino, ma la strada è pessima e quindi dista mezz'ora!

Decent place spoiled by 'angry' management
Got off to a bad start with a slow check in and and then an angry manager who was annoyed that I was was chasing up the check in (I asked two staff members for assistance before he turned up after we stood around for the 10 to 15 minutes). Manager clearly trying to do too much, not my problem if they can't delegate work. This soured the visit to be honest. We did have dinner at the restaurant though and the food was good. Breakfast also fine, as was the room. Nice location, liked the town.

Tolle ruhige Lage, Zimmer einfach aber okay
Im Vergleich zur Amalfiküste herrlich ruhige Lage, tolle Aussicht, dafür aber doch gut 30 min Fahrtzeit bis runter zur Küste. Zu Fuß über Treppen auch möglich, sind aber über 600 Höhenmeter und bei heißem Temperaturen nur für die ganz Harten ;-) Frühstück italienisch einfach, Dusche recht klein, aber sonst alles okay.

Little gem high up the mountain.
This hotel/B&B is a gem. Check in was smooth although there were no staff to acknowledge our arrival at first. Owner was very nice, welcoming and brought us to our room. Room is clean but a little small for a family but made up for it having a balcony area which looks out onto the sea. Shower cubicle is tiny. Beds were comfortable and clean. Although we did not have control of our room aircon and it was switched off around 1-2am which made it quite warm in the room. Breakfast was included in the price and composed of breads/pastries, yoghurts, juices and coffee/tea. Granny that served us was very warm and funny. Hotel had a restaurant that is popular in their area. Food was good and decently priced. Location of the hotel is a quiet little town which over looks the sea high up the mountain side. Hotel location is under 1hr drive to Amalfi.

B&b a picco sul mare
B&B in località San Lazzaro di agerola offre uno stupendo panorama sul Golfo di Salerno. Camera confortevole,ristorante ottimo dove si possono gustare prodotti locali.A due passi dalla fermata dei pullman con cui raggiungere Amalfi è le altre "perle"della Costiera.Da non perdere la vicina Colonia Montana,un luogo circondato da un grande parco con una vista che va dal Golfo di Salerno a Capri.

Friendly introduction to the Amalfi coast
Leonardo’s was a great place stay-simple but very friendly. The owners couldn&5 be more helpful or accommodating and the room whilst basic was clean and well maintained. Stunning views!

Good base to explore the Amalfi Coast
We had a wonderful stay at Leonardo’s B&B. The accommodations were very nice and the sea view room was exactly as advertised online, offering a little glimpse of the Amalfi Coast. Vincenzo and Michela are wonderful hosts, they were very attentive to our needs. We had also a delicious dinner at the B&B restaurant, high quality Italian food at an affordable price. We would highly recommend this unique place for an overnight visit or an extended stay and we would definitely like to visit them again soon! If you are tired of driving, you can catch a local bus (just 2 mins from the B&B) to various locations within the Amalfi Coast which is quite convenient during the busy season!
