It was nice to have a quiet retreat at the end of our days exploring. The hotel was a great base for us with our rental car to Derry and the Giant's Causeway as well. âWe really enjoyed our stay at the Banoge House. We were coming in late and the host, John, stayed up to greet us and show us around when we came in. He is friendly, welcoming, and cooks a delicious Irish breakfast.
We were in a room for four people, a large bed for my husband and I and two single beds for our children. It's lovely having that combination. We enjoyed the Victorian decor and the massive bath. It felt like living in a cross between a museum and a home.

âWe only booked one night as we didnât know how long we needed to stay due to a family situation. The hotel kept our room open whether we used it or not and only charge for the days we are here at discounted rates. All staff are incredibly helpful and friendly and hugely empathetic. â

âWe had the most wonderful stay at Blackwell House in Scarva! From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel so welcome â nothing was too much trouble. The house itself is absolutely beautiful, full of charm and character, with every little detail thought of to make guests feel at home. The food was incredible (and plentiful!) and the rooms were spotless, cosy, and luxurious all at once.
