From the spacious, clean rooms to the personal touches, our first night in Ireland couldnât have been more pleasant. âEdwin was fantastic, he made us feel very welcome from the moment we got there. The property is beautiful and a short walk to a lovely lakeside look out where we watched the sunset (Edwin's recommendation). The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. We really enjoyed chatting to Edwin each morning over the delicious breakfast he cooked us (with fresh bread and eggs from his gorgeous ducks!) and the meal easily sustained us throughout the day which was perfect. âThe hotel seems like a luxury hotel both from the look and also the price! But the services we received did not feel luxurious at all. The curtain in the room was detached and there was leftover stuff from previous guests in the mini bar that started to grow mold! The TV was not only small but also did not work; neither the local channels nor the easy means to let us use our own streaming devices and to cast. The staff were friendly though and helpful.

âThis was one of the highlights of our 3 week stay in the UK. Gorgeous old house, massive room decorated beautifully, spotlessly clean and gorgeous grounds. John our host was lovely and cooked us delicious breakfasts. Also lovely surrounds with a donkey across the road who loved a pat, and some cats on the property who loved a cuddle. Highly recommend.â
