âWe had a last minute trip to kalymnos staying at Alkyonis apartments hosted by the lovely Evi who in spite of flight delays kept well In touch with us by email as well as text message. The warmest welcome greeted us on our arrival and Evi's kindness and helpful manner continued all week. The apartments are perfect for a comfortable stay in a beautiful quiet relaxing area of the island. We have loved staying so much that we are already planning our return next year. âThe hotel is very nice, and having direct access to the pool from the rooms was a real pleasure. The staff were kind and attentive, and the food was delicious. However, thereâs really no need to pay for full board, as even soft drinks are charged extra with the buffet dinner. Instead, you would actually spend less if you ordered from the hotelâs Ă la carte menu every evening. Of course, itâs a matter of personal preference, but had we known this beforehand, we would have chosen that option...

"We stayed one night as part of us travelling back to Sweden from Kos. We received OK service from the reception, being able to check in late at night when we arrived. However, there was no hot water in the tap in the bathroom (and only luke warm water in the shower). Also, the pillows where very thick/high and uncomfortable. The room's AC was quite noisy. The hotel building facilities are quite worn down and would be in need of a renovation."
