“The house was everything we could have hoped for and more! Honestly, just perfect across the board. Hands down the best home we have ever had the opportunity to stay. Phenomenal communication with the Host. The coffee and wine upon arrival was a great touch! We loved the live oak tree in the back yard and the many species of birds and the deer walking nearby too! If you are considering staying near Ahwahnee, we definitely recommend this home. We would love to return! Thank you!! ”

“The house is ok, but the photos are not representative of the actual experience. The house needs a lot of work. It’s clear that they’ve done some updating, but it needs a lot more. The hot tub is in a pool of water from the unit on the roof leaking like a hose. There is a strange back door that has been filled in, but is crumbling. The stove doesn’t fit the counter. I have photos of ten other things that just aren’t what you expect from the photos. It’s just not nice. It’s fun for the kids, but...

“The room was clean but the shower ( bathtub) was dangerous thing to step up into. It had poor water pressure so the shower did not come on all the way. Staff was okay but not helpful if you were not tipping them. We left a day early and the front desk said we need to talk with Expedia for a refund of those funds. But with how they are handling our car rental I don’t think we will get our money back. Feeling let down by the third party business companies. Disappointed for sure.”

“Overall a good place, although somewhat pricey (as most places close to Yosemite). However, a big negative was that the use of plastic cutlery and paper plates at breakfast. All of which went into the trash afterwards. That's really not sustainable and quite the opposite from the aura of Yosemite!”
