“The apartment fit the bill for 5 people traveling together. We had all of the conveniences of home. Our intention was to use mass transit for our expedition. We were 0.6 miles to the train station, 0.8 miles to the transit station, and civic center. We could walk to a bus stop to get to the transit station and then the airport. Private parking was available and free. We had access to a laundry room on the premises. Jeff was more than helpful. We made the right choice here.”

“Jewel Lake was a house style Bed and Breakfast. You make your own breakfast, but the kitchen was stocked well. Our room was in the basement with steep stairs so I don’t recommend those rooms for older travelers. There are rooms on the main floor of the house. Clean and comfortable. We would recommend for a short stay. Most people use it for cruise layover time. We took an Uber into Anchorage and did a tour which was fun too. ”
