Hotell med spa
Centralt hotell med fina rum. I hotellet finns ett spa(som såg väldigt fint ut), men man måste nog boka i förväg för det fanns inga lediga tider den dagen vi bodde på hotellet. Frukosten serverades på uteserveringen, lite kallt i mitten av oktober. Personalen var trevlig.

Fantastiskt läge!! Väldigt mysigt område, många uteserveringar längs hela gatan. Ganska gammalt hotell, golvet lutade nå enormt. Men det var städat och bra badrum. Trevlig och tillmötesgående personal. Fantastisk stad, vi hyrde bil och utforskade provence under två dagar. Fantastiska lavendelfält och oerhört vacker natur! Alla bergsbyar med fantastisk utsikt. Rekommenderar verkligen detta!'

Kanonbra läge!
Läget är fantastiskt, gratis (men väldigt trång) parkering vilket var kanon för oss som kom i bil, trevlig personal men lite knapphändig information om frukost, utcheckning m. m. Vi fick en nyckel och det var allt.

Läget Var det bästa med det här hotellet. Resten var uselt, unket rum, lyhört, wifi ett skämt och ett stort behov av renovering.

Great hotel to explore a great city
We had a great time at the hotel. We loved the room with a nice view over the rooftops and hills around the city. Around the corner we had the atmosphere of the old town and at the very same street, the famous Cours Mirabeau, there was a street market and a lot of happy people around. I can't imagine a better place to stay to explore Aix.

Vi bokade ett familjerum för tre vuxna. Det hade de missat. Så de två första nätterna blev i ett dubbelrum med en extra säng. De sa att det skulle bli samma pris? De gav sig dock lätt när vi protesterade. Vi fick sedan ett bättre familjerum än det vi beställt, så till slut blev det plus i kanten.

Gammeldags trevligt hotel. Trivsamt. Svårt med parkeringen från hotellet, man kan inte stanna utanför och ta reda på var deras parkering är.God men kanske lite enkel frukost.

Något obekväma sängar men om man prioriterar närhet till allt roligt och fantastiska omgivningar framför bekvämlighet är detta ett perfekt hotell!

Lyhört men centralt
Det som dragit ner betyget här är att det var papperstunna väggar. Man hörde allt, nästan ord för ord, grannen sade när hon pratade i telefon. Läget var bra och de flesta i personalen var trevliga och hjälpsamma.

Grand Hotel Negre Coste - perfect location
The Grand Hotel Negre Coste is a three-star hotel with clean rooms and a perfect location right on the Cours Mirabeau. The rooms are normal-sized, nothing special, but totally okay. The staff at the hotel though is not the most friendly and welcoming, which of course is a minus. Wifi is available at the hotel, but they charge extra for it. The real plus is the hotel's location - since it is situated on the main street in old Aix (but the traffic is not a problem in the rooms). It is also close to walk around the old city center from the hotel. All in all service and rooms as would be expected from a three star hotel.

Grand Hotel Negre Coste, Aix-en-Provence
Ett stort och underbart rum fullt av charm och med sköna sängar. Är man ute efter ett nytt och superbekvämt hotell ska man välja ett annat, men om man vill ha ett hotell med atmosfär och Aix absolut bästa läge är Grand Hotel Negre Coste ett bra val!

Staff were helpful and kind. Spa was very good for our massages. Glad we didn’t try hotel parking- too complicated. Instead we used Park Mignet, as we were in and out several times a day because we had friends out of town and did several day trips. Not your fault, but the mistral was more than we expected.

Nice Hotel - great location
Jan 24 - excellent location in the heart of the beautiful city - great well appointed room, dog friendly and nice breakfast - access by car is a bit tricky as you have to get past the city traffic free bollards, but ok, will stay again

Nice room. Nice lighting. Great restaurants all around. The location is cut off from normal motor traffic so that makes it impossible to get Uber so keep this in mind. Chairs were a little wobbly. We had the “Do Not Disturb” sign posted and the staff knocked anyway before 9am. When we came outside the DND sign was gone. We told the front desk manager later and she said it was a mistake they made. Annoying. Most front desk staff was friendly and helpful except for one seemed to be unhappy to be there and never smiled. She was communication-challenged and had to get very simple things or questions explained to her 2-3 times. Her boss seemed annoyed with her and finally took over.

Great Hotel - read review regarding accessibility
Wonderful Hotel. Everything about it was top notch. The only exception is what others have said...it. is a nightmare to get to by car but I wouldn't ding the overall quality and value of this establishment. Be prepared to be confused beyond belief as to how to get to it. Because it is in the foot traffic area only, you will need to use the call boxes at the street baracades for security to lower them for passage and entry to the area the hotel is.

This is centrally located but very difficult to drive to. Almost impossible as it sits on a pedestrian street. The rooms are renovated and fine. The halls feel pretty dingy.

Highly recommend! Perfect location on Cours Mirabeau. Staff very willing to help with booking our train and renting electric scooters. We had the least expensive room, which was beautiful and spacious, with excellent storage for clothes and toiletries. Very walkable to restaurants and shops, right in front of the pedestrian street which has a market 3 days a week.

Rooms are surprisingly quiet given all the activity outside....and good value for the cost. Daily housekeeping was nice and front desk staff very friendly and helpful with dinner booking and tour reservations. Only negative is the parking is very challenging to access...not simple to get in or out of and need to call front desk to allow access to streets.
