Gîte “Jeanne” – Comfort & Character for 4 Adults, Wheelchair Accessible

Welcome to “Jeanne”, a cozy 80 m² semi-detached house located at the heart of the Domaine des Ormeaux in the Dordogne. This fully air-conditioned gîte offers two comfortable bedrooms and can accommodate up to 4 adults. It has been thoughtfully designed to be accessible for guests with reduced mobility.

A former barn with a unique story
Originally a barn built in the mid-18th century as part of a wedding dowry, the building has been beautifully restored. The traditional Périgord-style roof with its coyaux (curved eaves) has been preserved. In the spacious living area, two old nesting boxes remain as a charming nod to the gîte's agricultural past.

And tucked somewhere inside, Jeanne’s vintage armchair remains in place — a sweet reminder of her presence 😊

Shaded terrace & fully equipped kitchen
“Jeanne” features a private courtyard-style terrace, shaded and enclosed by a hedge of Eleagnus – perfect for enjoying a meal outdoors or a relaxing afternoon in the garden furniture when the weather is fine.

The modern kitchen includes everything you need: induction hob, dishwasher, espresso/filter coffee machine, toaster, and fridge-freezer – ideal for preparing delicious meals at your own pace.
