I didn’t like that when my sister went to the restaurant associated with it that she couldn’t get a cup of coffee without the food pass the front desk gave me. The passes were for eggs, meat and toast to be included with the stay. I specifically asked if we could order different things (and pay for them) off the menu and if guests could come order a meal ( and pay for it) and was told they could, so when my sister was told she basically couldn’t come in without the pass, she was upset and so was I. Needless to say, we ate at other restaurants.
But the thing that really ticked me off is I got my reservations on Expedia for $104 before taxes, but the motel was advertising rooms for $84 but I was stuck paying $120 a night for rooms that were older and though it had supposedly been remodeled, the plumbing fixtures looked dirty enough that I went and bought comet to reclean the tub and sinks. I chose it for the location, close to Cole Park and downtown where Halloween events were being held, but I’m going to keep looking for a place to stay on my monthly visits to the area.
