“Very comfortable beds and large spacious rooms. Lovely views of the river and a balcony.”

“The first night we were in this motel we had the NOISIEST neighbors upstairs. I couldn't believe how loud they were just walking back and forth and up and down the stairs right outside our room. I called the front desk to see if we could get a different room on the second story and the next morning we were moved! Absolutely no issues after that. The staff were so friendly and the location was perfect. Definitely recommend!”

“Great room close to the lake and shopping. The entire area was hit with damaging snow and ice all winter but the property owners must have worked extremely hard to keep up. The ice unit needs replaced, but besides that the beds were heaven, the parking lot was recently sealed and striped and the staff went out of their way to be accommodating.”

“If you need a place to lay your head…not too terrible. Theres a Walmart, a cute coffee shop and good restaurants. But if you’re looking for quality, cleanliness or the feeling of privacy, it’s not great. Staff was helpful though. ”

“Shower handle was broken off. Cobwebs in bathroom corners. Water was plumbed backwards on sink. Hot Water took many minutes to reach room. Font desk was only staffed 9am - 9pm.”

“From the outside it looks like a nice place, the room was clean but there were ants in the bathroom. There was a fridge in the closet but no microwave, the room was dark as there is only one lamp on the nite table. The room is sadly lacking ac outlets and no lamp near the table. We have never seen a coffee pot like the one there, when you pour the coffee it leaks out over everything, also there was only one pack of coffee, we had to go ask for more. “Not what pictures portray. Living in Michigan my entire life I think all of mackinaw city has depleted in cleanliness and price gauging. We booked a “superior room” which means nothing like the photos. We were told it’s just a standard queen with a water view balcony. The room was so dirty.. mold in the shower on the ceilings, stains on the sheets, filthy lampshades. The lady at the front desk was as nice as she could be and the manager moved us over one room.. slight cleanliness improvement as...

“For a motel this was better than what I thought, didnt know it was a motel. Still it had nice beds and pillows. Could be a little cleaner the tub had weird stains. The sheets felt that a little weird and some mosquitos that were there.”

“The room was spacious and had a nice view of the lake. I couldn't get a good night's sleep because it was so loud. Not that there were loud people, but because the building is so old and poorly insulated that you can hear everything happening in other rooms like it's in your room.”

“Bottom line. Update of the property is mandatory. Paint the walls. Get rid of the shipping containers in the courtyard. Put new air conditioners in. And please update the photos of your property. The entire property should have pictures. I would’ve made a different decision much earlier had I known what the property was actually like. ”
