“Loved our stay! Will be back. Bed was very comfortable. Linens were very nice and new. Everything was working properly. Great top floor location that was nice and private and quiet. The garden was great to sit in the rocking chairs. Very walkable to downtown manteo. Quick drive over the bridge to the beach. I’d just say bring your own coffee and creamer or go out for coffee. ”

“This is perfect for a couple seeking quiet, cozy comfort. Walkable to downtown and your nightcap to go is across the street at the distillery. Close drive to the beach but the advantage over oceanfront is being able to walk to good eats and bars. Try Firetender, great service pizza and smash burgers. This location feels less touristy than points north in obx and we will stay again ”

“We had the best time at Cypress House. Very cute place with many amenities to support time at the beach. Centrally located to everything. The beach is right across the street. Breakfast was fantastic and Bill was so great to talk to. Even though they had a death in the family while we were there they had a backup plan and we were still well cared for. We will be back! ”

“They gave our second room away because they over booked. Gave us a late check out to “make up for it” then proceeded to bang on our door and yell at us for not leaving at check out. ”

“Loved this property in the heart of Manteo!! We spent a lot of time walking which is exactly what we wanted for a weekend getaway. Very charming and when it rained the breezeway was a cozy alternative to umbrellas! We enjoyed this place very much, highly recommend!!”
