House of horrors - the worst place iI have ever booked
If you want to spend your holiday in a villa with rising damp to every wall than this is the house for you. The owner had recently painted the whole villa and even that could not disguise the black mould pores, flaking wet paint and wet damp patches to every wall. The stench of damp was over powering. We left the same day as we arrived and could not bear to even spend a night here.
The owner refused to refund any of our money claiming that the house was near a lake and damp problems are to be expected.
This is the worst travel experience Iâve ever had. I was travelling with 4 children and this ruined our whole holiday as we had to pay for a weeks accommodation elsewhere as this property is NOT habitable. The owners have no regard for health and safety and no morals!
On top of the damp, the pool was filled with water from a hose, my son got locked into bathroom as the lock was broken and everything in the villa is old and tatty. The single beds are like camp beds and the headboard wasnât even connected to a bed in the single room. It was all diabolical.
If they were to offer this villa to you for free, Iâd still say avoid like the plague. If I could give zero stars I would.
