“The cabin was in a fantastic, secluded and natural position. Having no tv aloud you to really switch off and get back to nature. Bird lovers paradise. The cabin was small but perfectly formed and with the log burner, was nice and cosy while it was cold and raining outside! Being pet friendly, we were able to take the dog to enjoy it all too. “The location is a perfect ten, but the staff was far from good. First of all, it took us 1.5 hours to check in, and we didn’t sense any effort to speed up the process. There was a complete lack of willingness from the staff to make our experience enjoyable. Our room was also dirty, which unfortunately aligned with the poor check-in experience. The Tan Hill has the potential to be amazing. It has everything going for it—except the staff, who failed to make our stay pleasant.”
