- Continue following signs for Balloch. Once in Balloch, follow signs for Loch Lomond Shores and turn onto Old Luss Road.
- Free and paid parking is available nearby depending on your accommodation.

By Train:
- Take a direct train from Glasgow Queen Street to Balloch Station (approx. 50 minutes).
- From Balloch Station, it’s about a 10–15 minute walk to Old Luss Road. Taxis are also available at the station if you have luggage.

By Bus:
- Several local bus routes serve Balloch from surrounding towns like Alexandria, Dumbarton, and Helensburgh.

Well equipped but could have been cleaner. Dirty plates, bowls, cups and oven trays. Showers could have been cleaner and same with window sills. Very poor internet which impacted TV

Lovely weekend at South Lodge

We had a wonderful stay at the South Lodge April 17-20, 2025. Gillian was a pleasure to work with and answered all of our questions immediately. The home is how it looks in the pictures. Lots of space and ample bedrooms and washrooms. We never used the bar/pool table room as it has a separate entrance from the house and very low ceilings. The only issue we had was that the garbage and recycling bins were full and we had no where to put our garbage and recycling. The cleaning staff said they would manage it so all fine in the end.

Excellent stay, would massively recommend

Stayed for a 30th birthday celebration with friends and family Property was in a great location and had everything needed for an enjoyable weekend. Lots of compliments on how comfy the beds were. The property/grounds seem bigger than the pictures which was nice and the hot tub was huge. Would absolutely stay again Thanks very much
