Wonderful place!
We stayed at this place for a week in april, the weather was not the best så it got a bit chilly inside with cold floors. The apartment itself is amazing. Big nice dinner table, a good kitchen with a big fridge to fill up with cold drinks and so on. The bedroom upstairs is great with a nice bathroom next to it and the exit to the upstairs balcony. That's a nice place to sit in the sun. The apartment is located in a nice area with some restaurants and a few shops nearby. It's a short walk down to the beach and the town where other nice restaurants are located. If you travel there with kids I'd recommend the Slide n Splash and the Zoomarine Algave. We loved both places. Jane, the owner, had good communication with us before, during and after the trip. Much appreciated!

Carvoeiro Paradise
Absolutely beautiful! The accommodation was 5 star all around. Jane was a wonderful host. She gave us many suggestions. The area is just gorgeous. You really should visit. Highly recommended. There is a mini market across the street. Also a spa for nails, facials, massage run by Francisca whois a delight. Restaurants within a five minute or less walk.

Excellent location and helpful owner
Four of us stayed at the property which was spacious and well appointed! The owner was very friendly and quick to reply to all our questions. The location was excellent as it was walking distance to spectacular hikes! And lots of good restaurants nearby!!

A little piece of Paradise
Our stay in Monte Carvoiero was absolutely fantastic. The location of the unit is perfect with amenities directly across the street from us (small grocery store. Coffee shop, restaurant) and the main townsite is within a 10 minute walk from the unit. The house itself is very well appointed with modern kitchen, lovely bedrooms. Bathrooms & living & dining areas along with a lovely back yard. We found a gym/exercise classes close by (at the Tennis Club) which worked out great. We have only positive things to say about our month in this beautiful part of the world. Thank you Jane for opening up your home to us.

Tolles Ferienhaus, super Lage in einer schönen, gepflegten Ferienanlage! Das Haus ist sehr geräumig, super ausgestattet und die Vermieterin ist super nett und hilfsbereit! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt! Die Lage ist auch top. Supermarkt gegenüber, mehrere Restaurants in der Anlage, ca. 10 min zu Fuß an den Strand und in den Ortskern. Wir kommen wieder!

Great family base for Carvoeiro
The house and location exceeded my expectations in many ways. Spacious house with everything you could need for a comfortable stay- we ate in just as much as we ate out! Lovely indoor and outdoor dining areas with a BBQ pit for more cooking options! The owner kindly provided beach towels, bucket/spade, beach umbrella, pool noodle, ball which were really appreciated. Air conditoning in bedrooms made the stay more comfortable for sleeping on hot nights. The property is so well located for free street parking outside, short stroll to the resort supermarket, pool, and central restaurants/bars. Carvoeiro town is about 5 min walk away. Being located out of the busy centre, it is easier to access local roads to get away on excursions. Owner Jane was excellent communicating before our trip with information about the property and area. She couldn't have been any more helpful . I would highly recommend this holiday rental for a memorable holiday base.

Nice house, attentive owner.
Nice comfortable house, close to centre of Carvoeiro. Useful to have a car to visit a variety of beaches, towns and the tennis club. Minor snag with internet, efficiently sorted by attentive owner, who reached out a number of times to ensure we were ok.

Great Location
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Mima. The location in Carvoeiro was great and Carvoeiro itself was a good base to explore the Algarve and its coastline. The boardwalk and coastal hiking trails in each direction of Carvoeiro were highlights for us. Jane was very helpful, providing us with lots of recommendations for activities and restaurants. She was very quick to respond to all enquiries. We had a minor issue with the cleanliness of the unit when we first arrived and Jane was on it immediately. Thanks Jane for sharing your home away from home with us. We had a great time!

We spent a week at Jane’s property. The location couldn’t be better - walk to town and close to local hikes. The local grocery store and restaurants were so convenient. The pool and pool bar were a great respite from our daily adventures.

Superb accommodation in a great location
Thoroughly recommend - the property is tastefully furnished and equipped throughout. We didn’t want for anything during our stay. It is in a great place, within easy reach of Carvoeiro on a complex which has quality to offer. Jane was a great host; helpful and available as needed. This is a premium product which we wouldn’t hesitate to return to.

Wonderful Holiday
We are a family of four with 10 year old twins. Jane's home was perfect for us and had everything we needed. Having the garden is definitely an added bonus. Any questions were dealt with efficiently and she gave us lots of ideas for family friendly restaurants and excursions. Carverio and the surrounding area is breathtakingly beautiful and the house is only a short walk from the centre and the beach. We hope to return again.

Superb villa in Carvoeiro, Portugal
We’ve just returned from a fabulous week in Carvoeiro staying in the wonderful Casa Mimi. From start to finish our host, Jane was friendly, helpful and couldn’t do enough to make sure that we enjoyed our stay! On the one hand I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the villa, on the other I’m seriously considering keeping it secret just for us!! Wohlfühlhaus in schöner Anlage
Sehr gute Kommunikation mit der hilfsbereiten Vermieterin. Gut ausgestattete Küche, alles da im Haus was man braucht... In der wunderschönen sind großteils Engländer und einige Portugiesen zu Gast. Die Lage ist perfekt, wir haben die ganze Algarve von dort aus erkundet.

Fantastic house in great location

Much needed break during the COVID pandemic
This is a fantastic house really well equipped in a beautiful location. Jane couldn't have been more helpful in arranging our booking at very short notice. The proximity to both the beach and the centre of Carvoeiro is a big advantage and there are also some lovely restaurants on the complex. We will definitely be back.

Loved the casa and location
Booked for the month of March but unfortunately had to leave 10 days early because of Covid19. The location is great...an easy walk into town (a little harder uphill on the return). Many restaurants nearby. The casa itself is bright and clean and well appointed. We appreciated the fireplace on the main floor and the heaters in the master bedroom and bathroom, also the patio and garden. WIFI was good and allowed us to stream shows such as Netflix. Carvoiero is a lovely town. We will return.

Very spacious house with nice garden at a top location!
We stayed at Casa Mima with a family of 2 adults and 3 children from 25th of July until the 3th of August 2019, and it's definitely a place to recommand! All the communications with Jane went smoothly and very quickly. The house is easy to find, and everything you need is nearby: reception, a place where you can book all kind of activities, restaurant, bar,... The swimming pool is just 1 minute walking, and there are always and there are always enough sun beds available. The house has very good beds to sleep in and 2 large bathrooms. In only 5 minutes walking, you are in the lovely village of Carvoeiro and the beach of Carvoeiro. We enjoyed the lovely and stunning beaches of Praia da Marinha, the woorden boardwalk starting in Carvoeiro, the climbing on the rocks of Algar Seco, the daytrip to the Zoomarine, the boattrip to the beautiful caves starting in Carvoeiro, the jeep safari into the sierra de monchique, the ceramic of Porches, Lagos, Alvor, the lovely Ferragudo,... and many more things. We will definitely return!

Nice Villa in great location
Carvoiero is a lovely place for a holiday. The villa is nice and in a superb complex. The pool and nearby bars and restaurants are a real plus. We enjoyed bbqing and eating on the back patio which is warm and sunny during the day and in welcome shade at night. The town itself is a short walk away

Beautiful home in a beautiful location.
Wow. What a lovely home from home. Within walking distance to all local amenities. We loved our stay, with our two children. Heated pool and pool bar were lovely. Jane is so helpful and easy to deal with. Smooth journey from booking to leaving. Jane even asked what we liked to do and what age the children were and suggested days out and which beaches to go to. Had a great 10 days away here. Will definitely return. The villa contains everything you would expect from a high quality home. The cool box and Tupperware were used regularly as we packed up picnics most days to take with us on our days out. We used the barbecue too on more than one occasion for our evening meal. Having a washing machine and outdoor area for drying clothes was a life saver with two boys! Carvoeiro is such a beautiful place, great for families, and a great base for exploring the Algarve. Lots of lovely restaurants and bars, but with a very relaxed feel. Beautiful fishing village. Some lovely shops too. We couldn’t have asked for anything more and would definitely recommend to a friend.

Lovely spacious Villa
Lovely spacious villa with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The outside space is private and a good place to relax after a busy day at the beach or by the pool, both are close by. Perfect location. Excellent communication with Jane the owner. I would highly recommend staying there.

Leuk gelegen, dicht bij het centrum
De woning is leuk gelegen op een paar minuten van het strandje. Monte Carvoeiro is een fraai ontworpen park en de tuin met terrasje is aangenaam om in de zon te zitten met uitzicht op de mooie palmen in het park. De grootte van de woning is voldoende. De derde slaapkamer is wel klein. De keuken is recentelijk heel mooi verbouwd. Al met al hebben wij een prima verblijf gehad.

Fabulous holiday in Carvoeiro
Had a fabulous holiday in Casa mima, Carvoeiro. The house is in a great location, and has everything you could ask for. The pool is literally round the corner, with the town and beach no more than a 10 minute walk away. It made our first holiday away with our 7 month old grandaughter, daughter and son-in-law a total success with great memories - Thanks Jane

Fabulous holiday in a great location!
We have just returned from week at the villa and it is fabulous. It is a real home from home, with everything that you need for a holiday. Jane was a great host and kept really good contact both on the lead up to and during the holiday. The villa is in a great location, with easy access to the pool. It is about 5 minutes walk to the beach, although this is quite steep on the way back up. The area is lovely, with some great little restaurants. I would definitely recommend and would love to visit again the future.

Great apartment in a great location!
Just back from a fab holiday in Carverio. The apartment was very spacious with everything you need and walkable to everything, we really liked the large light and airy bedroom upstairs. Jane was also really helpful, very accommodating and easy to reach. We went to lots of the beaches, the coastline is stunning and also used the hop on hop off bus that goes from right outside the apartment. We got it up the Trovolli sky bar which has amazing views and cocktails! Lots of lovely places to eat locally, also the broad walk is a really lovely walk. My daughter is 10 and was constantly occupied with the beaches, pool, slide and splash and tennis just down the road. Would definitely recommend both the apartment and Carveofor a brilliant holiday with loads to do for both adults and kids!

Beautiful villa in a great location
This was our 4th time holidaying in Carvoerio and by far the best place we have stayed in. The villa is beautiful and has everything you could possibly need. It's very spacious and the garden is lovely. The town is only about a 5 minute walk but there are also some lovely restaurants so close to the villa so the location was fantastic. We wished we had booked longer! Will definitely return to this villa again!

Lovely apartment, great location, very comfortable
We have been coming to Monte Carvoeiro for 20 years now, a great resort. Good quality restaurants and bars, lovely well kept grounds. Pool bar good food for all tastes, cocktail garden bar wide range of drinks and entertaining. Close to the main town and beach, people friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend resort and apartment, main upstairs room on suite, double and single down stairs, very comfortable (would definitely stay here again) owner very helpful.

Great property in a good location
Lovely townhouse villa in a great position. The living room was big with plenty of sofas to relax on and the kitchen was well stocked. The bedrooms were very comfortable and the en suite was enormous. There was a nice little terrace with a table big enough to seat five. The walk down to the town for the beach during the day and the restaurants in the evening was great - close enough but far enough away not to hear any noise. The shared pool was lovely with a small quiet adjacent bar. Jane kept in contact leading up to our stay and was always ready to answer any questions we had.
