Great view and many lovely plants
The place is refurbished and made with much love and attention to detail. Communication is easy and quick. The house is in alovely area close to the old part of town, marina and ferries. A larger supermarket is just a stroll away. There is quite a bit of dampness though, at least in March it was case. Might be different in summer heat. If you are sensible to noise it might not be the right place, as busses, general traffic and planes are passing quite regularily during daytime mainly. The rooftop terrace is another plus. You can observe those airplanes as well as the famous storks and swallows for instance. And you can have some delicious breakfast very close by.

Lovely little cottage, ideal for short stay
We really enjoyed our short stay in this little cottage. It has eveything you might need but is a little short on storage space. The bedroom is small, one side of the double bed has to be against the wall in order to acccess the wardrobe on the other side. The roof terrace is lovely, although has very little shade (and only one sunbed?). Although being on a main road you really don´t notice any noise, even at night and soon learn to ignore the sound of overhead planes, a feature of Faro in general! The cottage is in an excellent location, right between the walled old town area and the more modern pedestrianised shopping/restaurant area, all very easy walking. There is a huge free car park literally round the corner. The owners were very easy to deal with, the key was in the lockbox and overall we would definitely book again, thank you.
