Strandnära!
Bodde i en svit med havsutsikt på sjunde våningen. Skön jättesäng med bäddmadrass! Fick erbjudande om rabatt på mat och dryck i hotellets bar - men använde det endast en gång då kvinnan helt plötsligt inte tog kort och försökte lura oss på rabatten. Hon var inte det minsta trevlig och gjorde att man kände sig ovälkommen varje morgon vid frukosten.

Excellent location, staff service, room cleaning and hotel premises. The location across the street from the beach is very convenient. Expect some noise from the cars and activities below (we lived on 5th floor with view to city), but no issues sleeping with the slider closed and A/C running. The balcony and kitchen adds a lot to the appeal of the hotel. The room service was great (we used it once). The king-size bed was no joke and we absolutely loved it, 2 TV´s and the hole room was very smart planned. We stayed for 7 days and was our first visit to Portugal and will absolutely come back in near future again.

The best breakfast and view
The best hotel in Portimao. We love the view so take the upgrade and chouse a room with sea view. The bed was soo big and the room was clean and big. We love The breakfast so much to eat and the Best with it was sparkling rose and white wine! Destination was perfekt!

Mycket bra hotell att återvända till.
Nära strand och restauranger. Mycket bra frukost. Provade ej middagsbuffen. Stora rum, vi bodde mot staden vilket var skönt när solen låg på från havet.

Hotellet ligger nära nattliv och strand. Personalen gav en mycket bra service. Ett minus var solen inte hittade ned till hotellets utomhuspool då jag var där på eftermiddagen.

Nära till allt
Sviter ca 40 kvm. Vädersträck och våning avgör priset. Dyrast är 3 översta våningarna med frontal havsutsikt. Hotellet avgränsas från trapporna ner till stranden av en enkelriktad genomfartsgata så de nedre våningarna med havsutsikt störs av trafik och larm. Lokalbuss till Portmao centrum alldeles utanför ingången. Bekväma och breda sängar, bra frukost. Rökning tillåten på balkonger, känns i rummen trots stängd dörr. Ingen trädgård eller lekutrymme för barn. Annars bra för sviter för familjer. Trevlig personal speciellt i matsalen. Städningen endast ok, vid ett tillfälle lämnades dörren på glänt. Det här hotellet besöker man för havsutsikten på de tre översta våningarna. Vi bodde 14 dagar i en sådan svit men då nöjer man sig inte enbart med havsutsikten utan man ser också hotellets brister.

Helt OK hotel precis vid stranden. Det var dock lågsäsong när vi var där och rätt tomt på hotellet. Rummet vi fick verkade ingen ha bott i på länge då det luktade instängt och mycket unket.

Bra rum och hotell men för storskalig strand
Hotellet och rummet var bra - särskilt det stora rummet med en sovavdelning och en ´"vardagsrumsavdelning" med bl.a. diskho och tallrikar m.m. Däremot passade inte den stora och ganska packade stranden oss - vi tycker bättre om småskalighet.

Bra standard med perfekt läge!
Mycket trevligt hotell med bra läge alldeles ovanför stranden. Serviceminded personal. Rummen är stora och fräscha. Fin lobby och frukostmatsal. Det enda negativa var att poolen bara hade sol någon timme på tidig förmiddag.

Nice hotel but even in April do not book an ocean view room at the front as it is impossible to sleep between 1pm to 4 pm with the youths hollering in the street below. We only got two full nights sleep out of seven as the weather was the only thing that stopped the racket.

Firstly the room, we had an Ocean view, the room and view was trying something truly amazing and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The breakfast was also excellent with lots of options based on varied diet requirements. It was my birthday during our stay, and I was surprised with a cake and a bottle of bubbly, Many thanks RR Hotel Da Rocha for this as you went above and beyond for me and I truly appreciated it. The short walk to the beach was ideal along with dining options around the hotel were perfect. Lastly I would like to say that ALL of the staff at RR Hotel Da Rocha were extremely professional, polite and an absolute credit to the Hotel, I do remember Jessica, Joao and another young man in the restaurant, along with the young porter who surprised me with the cake being particular stand out stars. But again all staff we encountered were professional. Keep up the Excellent work 😊

Plus:the location, shower and hot water kettle. This hotel did not provide coffee or washcloths (wash clothes are not provided in several Portugal & Spain hotels), although there are several cafe’s in the area If you like quiet family friendly hotels, this is not the place for you unless your room is located on a higher floor than the first two floors, we were on the first floor. This hotel is located in a big party area with a huge nightlife!

The Hotel Rocha was much better than I expected. The room was nice. Breakfast was very good. But the location to the beach and the restaurants was incredible. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my family and friends.

Mature couple, stayed in ocean view room. View, location and area were excellent. Great central location to explore the souths east and west towns. Small grocery stores can be found throughout the Algarve, but the best for already prepared Portugese meals is the Intermarche Hyper in Lagos. Room was super clean, very large with a separate living area, balcony. Kitchen is fully equipped but no stove. Has full dishes, silverware and wine glasses etc. Has dish soap and dish towel, shampoo/ body wash and soap bars provided but no conditioner. Breakfast was cruise ship equivalent and had EVERYTHING you could possibly want, including complimentary sparkling wine. We Highly recommend this hotel!
