11 of us stayed in June 18. Transfer from airport was easy and takes about 35 minutes.
Location is great. Two big supermarkets are a 5 minutes walk (recommend Pingo Dolce). About a 15 minutes walk to the old town or The Strip, or 3 Euros in a taxi. Taxi it to the beach though, don’t walk it.
Villa is very spacious and well appointed. Loads of room and has everything you need. Most of the furtniture and decor is really nice and high quality but some of it now shows some considerable wear and tear.
A few negatives but nothing that hugely detracted from our stay. Hot tub only partially worked, electronic dartboard was broken and fixed late in our stay, one of the air con units leaked, alarm system was broken, WiFi can be patchy, pool table seen better days, outdoor table falling apart by the day. More annoying than show stoppers.
A few tips if you decide to stay here. There is a short footpath cut through at the bottom of the road that cuts 5 minutes off your walk. The Pingo Dolce supermarket is great, shop there. Don’t eat at the small restaurant just across the other side of the main road (unless you want to wait 90 minutes), there’s a KFC, McDs or the Pingo Dolce just as close if you want a quick bite. Get taxis or Uber’s home if it’s a late/early one after a few beers, don’t walk unless youre in a large group (we learned that one the hard way with an attempted mugging about 30 yards from the front door).
It’s a great villa for groups or large families, would definitely go back and not hesitate to recommend.
